The wait staff was very accommodating to our party and I was very pleased with the service and atmosphere of this place. However, the food itself is very average. I think they could benefit from limiting their menu options and focusing solely on improving the quality of their pizza. I ordered a Chicago-Style deep dish and the crust was very uninspiring, as well as the cheese which was cheap and gluey. I will always give this place more chances as it is an East Lansing staple, but I would like to see some improvement in the ingredients that go into their pies.

I’m going to assume all the locals know about their town’s Pizza House and if they haven’t already, I’m sure they will in due time. A simple comparison would be that this is a cheesecake factory of pizza pies. There’s a lot on the menu, not just pizza, there’s a lot of food options, I mean, a lot. First time coming here, of course we got pizza, and it was not disappointing. We went with a Chicago style pizza, and it was ooey gooey, just the way I like it. There are also salads, wings, plenty of entrees to satisfy all kinds. People are nice and helpful when it comes to such a large menu. Besides all the great pizza, my next favorite thing would be their bruschetta and I don’t know what they do, but I could eat a whole appetizer of bruschetta by myself as a meal alone, I’d be ok with that. I also had an alcoholic shake, which can also come without alcohol, but boy I could get lost in those drinks as well. I’ve been to one of these establishments in Ann Arbor and East Lansing and when they get busy that can get BUSY, don’t be surprised because the wait can get long. But you might as well try it once, right?
The Pizza House menu presents pizza options that are second to none in mid-Michigan, but doesn't stop there. The massive menu offers a wide variety of everything from sandwiches & shakes, to burgers and fries, to wings & other fried food, to pasta, to ribs, and of course, pizza. There are six different options for the crust alone. However, if digging through the custom options sounds like too much work, fear not, there are a score of specialty pies to choose from right on the menu.
The full bar has all of your drink options covered, and is a great place to grab a bite if you are on your own. Combinations of booths, high top, and regular tables can accommodate most party sizes on all but the busiest of days.
After coming here for years, the service has always been exemplary, even if a busy lunch hour, or a packed game day meal.
One of the nicest things for me is that they are open late: 4:00 AM. I never have to worry about if Pizza House is there for me or not.. they are.
Logan was our server and he was over-the-top wonderful. Great server and great personality. Love the bus to the game. Great experience overall. Will Def do this again. Our pizza was a little overcooked, the garlic cheese breadsticks were great. And the coffee Logan made was so good!
Pizza was delicious! But it took a long time, even though the restaurant was empty. Arrived later than the quoted time, and still had to wait 10 minutes. But still REALLY good Chicago style pizza! Worth the wait!
On a busy Friday night they have great service to our party of 19. The meat lover's lasagna was awesome and others loved their pizzas and pastas. Definitely coming back!
Second time getting take out while visiting family in Okemos, MI. we’re pizza snobs and this was great grub! We also really enjoyed the garlic cheese bread. We highly recommend it.
The name really does not disappoint. The food was wonderful. Staff friendly and helpful. The menu is diverse. It was a little expensive but more than worth it.
BRITNEY is incredible. She's a manager and she really looked out and help me with completing my sale. I'm a grad student and I was starving and cold and britney made sure I was nourished!
Great pizza -- if you're here from Chicago, this is the place to go! Expensive, yes, but worth it. And while you're here look for the autographed photo of Gale Sayers running through the New York Giants.
