Want to stop in the middle of nowhere for a steak that you can cook yourself for a $2 discount? The Little Nugget is the place for you! Their unlimited salad bar even has cottage cheese AND dessert. Gambling machines, neon lights, old cars a random picture of Colonel Sanders' mandolin band, daily beer specials and so much more that I probably missed. Unbelievable!
You need a roadhouse on your list of eateries. If you have one roadhouse on your list, it should be "The Little Nugget Trading Post". Salad bar, flame grilled steaks with all the fixin's. Many other items to other including great burgers and chili. Massive selection at the full well stocked bar. Comfortable, low-key and friendly. The staff was efficient and very helpful. It is easy to see why Little Nugget has such a loyal following. Well worth the minor diversion off of Interstae 74 for a quick respite. Wwll done to the staff management and owners of "The Little Nugget Trading Post"! KUDOS!!!
Super cute spot. Awesome daily specials. Went Friday for the fish dinner it was a huge amount of food! Will go back
Hands down one of the best steaks I've had from a restaurant in ages. The grill is in the dining area, and you even get a discount if you grill your own steak(on a separate grill). The salad bar was also just as amazing. And to top it off the sweet tea was out of this world. This was the only place we are at while on our trip. Going back every chance I get.
The steak was perfect medium temperature. I had the ribeye, loaded, potato, garlic toast, grilled shrimp, salad bar, pink lemonade, and a margarita all for $41. Can't beat that.
We're not from this area and just happened to drive by. Glad we stopped. Love the atmosphere and the wait staff were all so friendly, not like they get paid to be, like they were sincere. The food was amazing. We made sure to let the gentleman that grilled our steak know this. Can't wait to come back.
Awesome place. Fun atmosphere. It was packed when we got there. Said 45 min wait. Went to the bar, got a drink immediately. Table was ready by the time I finished my drink. Service was fast friendly and accommodating. It is a steak place. Get steak. Fish was not good. Bland. Flour breaded. Everything else, fantastic.
