Great location in uptown Dallas, right on McKinney Avenue! Spacious patio, with lots of umbrellas- perfect for people watching. Service was exceptional without ever being rushed. We took our time with cocktails before even looking at the brunch menu. I had 2 of their small plates - truffle Mac & Cheese and lollipop Spivey chicken wings, both were delicious! He had fried chicken and waffles, also super yummy (yes I just had to have a taste!) Plenty of people (Saturday brunch on the patio), but still not so crazy loud that we couldn’t have a conversation. Delicious food paired with a few cool cocktails was the perfect way to start the weekend right!
Loved everything about this place and would return, hands down. Got the house and Cesar salad...the strips of bacon alone made it 5 star. The ribeye steak was incredible. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooled (medium rare). One of the best steaks I have had in a long, long time. The cheddar jalapeño mashed potatoes and truffle Mac and cheese were simply amazing. The atmosphere was great and the service was super friendly. Loved the area of town to walk around and bar hop too! Wish we ordered appetizers because I'm sure they would be great!
There's a new Del Frisco's Grille located at The Shops at Legacy. Or, you can visit the good old McKinney Avenue location, which is just as popular as ever, for good reason. Killer cocktails (try the Youth Serum), standout service and consistently solid food. Special props goes to our server, Mike, who gave great recommendations and was super attentive. High fives all around, DFG!
I like it! The Bloody Mary is too small for what you're paying, but the seared ahi salad was phenomenal! Waitstaff was friendly and entertaining. Overall, I liked the outdoor atmosphere, menu has a ton of things I want to try, but portions were small for the price, overall.
Iceberg Lettuce Wedge. I bit heavy handed on the blue cheese
I intended to have steak: ended up ordering the Veal Meatloaf. Served over a bed of delicious mashed potatoes and drizzled with an amazing mushroom sauce, this is one amazing dish.
The Pimento Cheese Fritters appetizer was good too:
For dessert I sampled the Coconut Cream Pie, recommended by the server: it was average.
First time here for work lunch and really enjoyed it! Service was fantastic, lunch and dessert was great. I will be back.
Del Friscos Grille is where class meets ass here in Uptown. You will find a very upscale atmosphere with some of the best talent in this city, and if you can at least pull off an appearance of wealth then you will have a shot at the gold.
Now the food is also worth noting. Though slightly overpriced for what you actually get, I haven't been disappointed. I would recommend this place to a friend.
The Tuna Fish Taco appetizer was to die for. We had a large group (12) when we took our customers to dinner. Service was great and the food fantastic.
Impressive Steak, Impressive Service. Del Frisco's Grill is a family owned chain, but with three complimentary steakhouses and 34 locations, this is no mom and pop joint, it's a powerhouse that's caught the attention of economic authorities like Forbes and The Wall Street Journal.
The Grille is considered Uptown's more affordable, yet still upscale, sibling of Fort Worth's Del Frisco's Double Eagle. Like many restaurant's in uptown, the valet is seen parking a Porsche while the driver's date titers out in her Louboutin pumps. No fear, their ribeye can handle even palpable levels of testosterone. It's a perfect combination of a chargrilled, crispy coating with a cooked-exactly-as-ordered center. Like any good southern girl, I believe any meal is improved with a side of grits, and the lobster sauce version was heavenly.
Unlike older generation steakhouses, the atmosphere is trendy and "industrial." The urban patio overlooks the vibrant uptown streets. The kitchen is open to the dining room and the servers are energetic and engaging. In full disclosure, I was blown away by the level of training and competency. I'll pass along the server's spot on recommendations for the Ahi Tuna Tacos, the Cheesesteak egg rolls and the Nutella bread pudding.
Reservations are accepted and recommended. Private dining is offered for special events and I would certainly feel comfortable in-trusting my evening in the hands of managers Sabrina and Melissa.
Had a mediocre experience here, can’t say I would return. Service was bomb but the food was pretty average. The egg rolls were the best thing along with the stuffed crab shrimp! Sides were a little below average for me. Our server, Taylor was amazing and did very well taking care of a large party of 15. She was dope!

The food, atmosphere and service are always excellent. Our server Caitlin was phenomenal! She provided the level of service one would expect when dining out. She was attentive, pleasant and friendly. Sending a shout out to the Del Frisco’s Grille team for an amazing dining experience!
Great place for steak, we have a party of 6, at first we were seated in a booth and we requested change of table, because we were sitting a little too cozy together, they were very accommodating and got us a table for 8. Great wine selections. My New York Strip was cook to my liking, they ask you to cut the meat in half to see if it is cook to your preference. Very nice atmosphere, they have some outdoor seating on the second floor. Valet parking on the side of the restaurant on Hall Street.
I enjoyed every moment in this establishment. Our server, Brook, was very attentive. The manager came by to check on us too. All of my food was delectable. They never fail to impress me. Try the White Sangria drink. It's wonderfully refreshing. The salted caramel butterscotch pudding is a must have.
Great service excellent food and great wine selections. Our server was professional, kind and very cartering. Our absolute favorite was the crab cake.
Del friscos is a very nice restaurant. Slightly upscale but casual attire is permitted. My waitress tiara was personable, attentive and awesome. The service was quick, the manager was amazing as well. The drinks definitely were worth the money. I suggest the pineapple tangerine martini it’s phenomenal. The crab cake was actually crab instead of fillers and it was seared to perfection. The rib-eye whew, it was huge! Enough to share for 2 and the crab stuff shrimp were just as wonderful. The lobster Mac was so ridiculous it was so much lobster… it was overall a great choice for dinner and tiara was awesome!
Great food & atmosphere! Restaurant is located in the heart of Uptown Dallas right on McKinney Ave. I ordered their salmon which comes with asparagus and I also got a side of grilled mushroom and OMG, they were delish. Salmon was medium cooked (per my request) and the grilled mushrooms were to die for. My server also recommended their red velvet cheesecake and it was so good.
Went here for a birthday dinner and had the cheesesteak egg rolls as an appetizer. First time ever trying something like it and it was so good. I also had the Mediterranean Shrimp. I didn’t really care too much for the rice on the plate put the shrimp was amazing. Lastly I had the Truffled Mac and Cheese which was pretty good as well. Overall we had very good service our waiter was amazing and I would highly recommend it to everyone!
The atmosphere is great. Everyone's drinks, dinner and desserts were very good. But as you can see the portion for the stuffed shrimp were small compared to the price. The waiter was very attentive for our party of 12. I recommend this restaurant. If you go, park in the garage behind the restaurant.
The Ahi Tacos started off our dinner right! The Prime rib...(served on Friday & Saturdays only) OMG was heaven, mash potatoes were a little on the salty side, but everything was cooked to perfection. Great drinks from the bar "dirty martini" 🍸💙 and staff was great. Can't wait to see you guys soon.
