The fried shrimp were large and delicious. The salad was fresh. The veggies were cooked just right & the dirty rice was moist and seasoned well. The best part was the speedy and excellent service we received. My son ordered gumbo and he liked it, but would’ve wanted more shrimp in it. Will be going back!
Wonderful experience at Sams! The wait staff is attentive, it’s a nice and chill atmosphere, the food is impeccable and the prices are affordable! I’ll be back! Have some other menu items to taste 🥳👏🏼
We really enjoyed the food and the service was superb. My bride had the bacon wrapped shrimp and coleslaw and fried okra. I had the grilled catfish and coleslaw. Sam's makes their own slaw and their own cocktail sauce. Sam's is one of gems you find and really like! Yummy yummy!
Had a lovely meal and sadly no room for dessert as was too full from so much food.its not cheap by any means. But the caliber of food is equal with other fine dining establishments. The service was good too. This is a great place for special occasions!
This place has the best fried seafood in the area, hands down. The service is great and the prices are way better than that big chain, Pappa, and you can contribute to local owners. Fried catfish, oysters, shrimp and stuffed crab are the best. Get the hush puppies also, tasty.

They no longer have the stuffed Crab but the fried fish, shrimp and oysters are still fantastic. You should try this place out, you will not be disappointed.
What nice restaurant. But please remember not is BYOB . So bring your beer and wine to drink
First time trying this place. Ordered to go for my hubby's birthday. He really enjoyed his steak & the dirty rice. My fried shrimp was ok, cooked well but needing seasoning. The hushpuppies and fried okra are not worth the upcharge. Plenty of them but bland. Also we were shorted a salad.
