What truly sets El Torito apart is its festive atmosphere, especially during happy hour and Taco Tuesday. It's the perfect place for a casual and fun night out. On this Tuesday's visit, we couldn't resist trying their flight of mini margaritas, featuring classic, mango, and blackberry flavors. It added a playful and lively twist to our meal, making it a memorable, fun night out.
My first time in this restaurant,i was testing a lunch buffet 😋..Very nice variety of meat,hand made tortillas, salads, deserts..You can't really beat this price,great deal! The only thing i didn't like so much,is that they are actually making you a plate,as you don't have a direct access to the food and serving station..I prefer to make my own plate,but it doesn't really matter,absolutely not a deal breaker..Staff amazing and very kind! I had a great lunch,and will be back for sure 😀..

I got the salmon Vera Cruz, and it was to die for. The tequila sunrise was truly a work of art. I sampled a few of the leftovers and they were all great. In particular, I really enjoyed the cornmeal muffin. I felt that the food service and atmosphere were all first class. It is the sort of place where you not only eat, but you end up relaxing and chatting with others.
Our meals were delicious and the servers were nice and polite however it took close to an hour from when we arrived till when we got our food. We went on a Thursday night and it seemed they might have been short staffed maybe.
I've posted my review before, but today's is much better! Food was 👍 We came for Happy Hour and had the Beef Birria Tacos 🌮 They were delicious! Plate came with 3 tacos that were a bit bigger than street tacos, some lettuce and pickled onions 🌰 and awesome sauce. Our server, Jeremy was amazing. So on top of it! He brought our food and drinks 🍸 out right away. And water 💧 was always full. He brought me a small taste of corn 🌽 cake at no extra charge. It was a very busy Tuesday night in the bar area too. We will definitely be back again!
Gloria our waitress was excellent!!! At all times she was very attentive to our needs. I have been going to this location for years and even before it moved to this remodeled location. Have always been getting outstanding service from GLORIA she is the best! Please give her a well deserved raise$$$.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated promptly. The ambiance at El Torito is always inviting, with colorful decor and a lively atmosphere that immediately puts you in a festive mood.
As for the food, it was exceptional. We started with the guacamole, which was fresh and deliciously creamy with just the right amount of kick. For our entrees, we had the ignited fajitas supremaa and the sizzling enchiladas, both of which were bursting with flavor. The portions
were generous, and every bite was a taste of Mexico. Jose was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended the perfect margarita to pair
with our dishes and ensured our glasses were never empty. What stood out the most was his genuine passion for the cuisine and his dedication to making our dining experience memorable.
The night concluded with a delectable dessert and we left El Torito with full stomachs and satisfied taste buds. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience with exceptional service, I highly recommend El Torito, and I hope you're fortunate enough to
have Jose as your server. This restaurant never disappoints, and it's a true gem in the world of Mexican cuisine.

Stopped in for a business lunch and discovered they have an all you can eat buffet from 11am-2pm on weekdays. They even make fresh corn tortillas and tacos to order. The shredded pork tacos were amazing. The chili Verde on the buffet line was some of the best I've had (from a restaurant). The cheese enchiladas with red sauce also were the perfect pairing. Finish that all off with homemade flan from the buffet for dessert. Highly recommend if your in the mood for Mexican and want to try a little of everything.

El Torito in Cypress, CA, left an unforgettable impression on our Los Alamitos, Cypress & Seal Beach Rotary Club during our recent gathering. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with exceptional service that set the tone for a fantastic evening.
Our large group (23 members and guests) was comfortably accommodated in a designated area, where we were promptly served with refreshing drinks and a delightful assortment of chips and salsa. The attention to detail and the seamless organization were truly remarkable.
We were further impressed by the efficiency with which our food orders were prepared and served. Despite the size of our group, the dishes arrived promptly and were cooked to perfection, reflecting the kitchen's dedication to quality.
The standout feature of our experience, however, was the level of service we received. The wait staff's genuine warmth and attentiveness created an atmosphere of hospitality that made us feel like honored guests. Their efforts undoubtedly contributed to making our evening truly special.
Our Rotary Club wholeheartedly extends its gratitude to El Torito in Cypress for exceeding our expectations.
