Went for brunch!
Food: 6/10
Great portions but very, very bland. I’ve never had to add so much salt and pepper to a dish. I ordered the Spanish omelet without cheese and my friend ordered the veggie omelet. They were cooked very well, but we’re in severe need of spices. The hash browns were 10/10! Best part of the whole dish.
Service: 10/10
The server was so kind, efficient and knowledgeable of the menu. I would come here again just for the service.
Ambiance: 8/10
Plenty of seating, clean and pleasant atmosphere. The chairs could use some upholstering however, no matter where I sat on my side of the booth I kept sinking into the seat from lack of cushioning and it wasn’t the most comfortable. My friend also had the same issue on her side of the booth. It’s a very nice place but could use some updates.
Overall I would probably try the other breakfast spots around due to the lack of seasonings, but if you want to try out a place we’re the people who work there have a great attitude, this would be your spot.
Nice homie atmosphere. Our server was Luis, he was awesome. Personable and attentive. Delicious food!!
Great service and delicious food. I had the meat omelet, a little salty but delicious. The grits and biscuit were kind of dry, not much flavor there. We went on a Saturday morning and were in and out. Bought some of the Pastries as well
Found this place on yelp and also curious since we live in Cypress. Finally made it and it's very dated but I really like the feel. We hardly had to wait.
Sylvia our waitress was super friendly attentive and patient. (Since it was our first time here and didn't know what we wanted to order)
Food was good very tasty except my steak. Was tender and looked delicious. But had no flavor. I had to salted my self. Still wasn't good. Was tender tho....
We will definitely be back and give it another go, next time.
You can't beat this mom and pop diner. This is as close to homemade as you can get. The staff is very sweet and give great service. Portions are large and have great value. Definitely one of cypress's hidden gems.
We decided to try this place out because we have passed by it several times. Such a cute place and all decorated up for St Patrick's Day. A warm, cozy place with good service and good food. The portions were pretty good size. I ordered spaghetti and my husband ordered chili size, I think it was called. We both enjoyed it and will go back again.
Can't say enough good things about Dalton's Cafe. The service was exceptional and the food is outstanding. The cranberry muffin alone is worth the trip. The Sloppy Joe Omelet is very good.
Local family friendly diner with well made food. Staff is friendly and make you feel like family. You even get a free huge cookie when you go there for the first time.
Best blueberry pancakes I’ve had in a very long time! Service was great and the prices were fair.
Waking up and having pancakes at Dalton’s were the best part of my trip to LA. We went 5 days in a row as it’s right next to the worst Super 8 on the planet :) definitely made my experience significantly better.
I have been coming here for several years for work. I never had a chance to leave a review.
So today was my first dining experience indoors since our last mandated stay at home order.
Sylvia, is an awesome waitress !! she does everything. Well waiting on customers today she was wiping down each booths throughly. This all takes extra time. She smiled apologized for the wait.
The bakery section is yummy from their muffins to cakes and cookies take your pic on calories 😋 the food is fresh served with huge portions. This small dinner has a old fashuon feel that it.
