Every meal was incredibly flavorful and unique! Service was great and it’s a nice environment. The Filet Mignon Red Curry was so savory and delicious!

Founded by Chau Dang Haller, whose family owned the famous Hoa Binh French boulangeries in Nha Trang, Vietnam, this restaurant is a testament to her culinary expertise and passion for healthy dining. As a licensed dietician, Chau has infused her menus with nutritious options that appeal to Newport Beach's health-conscious beachgoers. I recently had the pleasure of trying their Roasted Duck Spring Rolls ($8), and they exceeded all expectations. Tender chunks of savory duck with crispy skin nestled amidst fluffy vermicelli noodles, fresh lettuce, cucumber, and asparagus, all wrapped in pliable rice paper. The presentation and taste were outstanding. Two rolls, sliced in half, were simply not enough to satisfy my craving for more. While Bamboo Bistro offers a variety of spring rolls, including the renowned Ahi Spring Roll ($9), and other delightful options like Roasted Pork Spring Rolls and Grilled Shrimp Spring Rolls, I found the Vegetarian Spring Rolls ($5) to be less exciting in comparison. They contained tofu, noodles, lettuce, and carrots, but they lacked the bold flavors of the other offerings. It's clear that Bamboo Bistro caters to a broader audience, with a menu that draws inspiration from mainstream Asian dishes. While there are nods to Vietnamese cuisine with items like pho and banh xeo, the overall menu reflects a fusion of flavors that appeals to a diverse clientele. Despite this departure from traditional Vietnamese offerings, the quality and creativity of Bamboo Bistro's dishes make it a must-visit restaurant in Newport Beach. Chau Dang Haller's culinary heritage shines through in every bite, making this restaurant a delightful culinary destination for both locals and visitors. The restaurant is easily get to which is located right on PCH next to Fashion Island Shopping mall. There are plenty of parkings on the street and underground garage.

Bit of a long wait, but well worth it! Good sized portions. Everything was really tasty! We had the chicken lettuce wraps, beef curry, house special clay pot, and the seafood bird nest. Everything was well seasoned and fresh

The food was delicious!!!!! The vegetable coconut soup was so good and creamy, with fresh crunchy vegetables. I wasn’t a fan of this version of Pad thai since I’ve had many east coast versions but it was still very tasty! The service was mehh but the quality of food is worth for the price.

Cute spot that has very fast service and an extensive menu. The food is good and the portions are larger. I really enjoyed the dishes here. It’s a bit of fusion between cuisines as well as traditional and Americanized dishes. Really it’s a good way to satisfy a number of people. I would recommend. There is a lot of curbside parking around the area.
