My daughter and I occasionally eat here at Captain D's when we want to change it up to something different. The food is always hot and delicious. We enjoy good customer service and it's always given. The store and restrooms are very clean. The staff are dressed appropriately. When we leave.. we're offered a great smile and to come back. Very welcoming.
We had dinner at this this Cap'n D's location on Wednesday evening. Even though we arrived at a time of day that would have been just after the dinner rush, it was spotlessly clean. Hard to do in a fast food restaurant! Cordell, the man behind the counter that took our order and served us, was very professional, helpful and patient (I asked a lot of questions about the senior menu, and he was very helpful and kind). When there was no line, instead of just standing around waiting for customers, the staff stayed busy. Nice to see. Cordell mopped and picked up any time there was a spare moment. The folks in the back seemed great too, but he is the only person I interacted with personally. A great team starts with great management and staff that gets along well with each other. Kudos to everyone that makes this location really pleasant to eat in. Also, the music was played at a nice low level, instead of blasting, like in some restaurants. And it was oldies music, which is always nice!
The lady Julia is super sweet and my food is always fresh whenever she is working! I have eaten here when she is not working the drive thru and some younger kids don't know what they're doing and the food isn't good. However; when Miss Julia is here it's always excellent customer service and the food is great!
First visit ever, very clean store, lot of seating.
The real champ was the front counter employee, Dell, he gave me time to review the menu. Gave a recommendation and made sure I had everything I needed when I was seated. I am a new local and def will be back!!

I've loved Captain D's for a long time. Their food is consistently good. They also have a few healthier options available. My only complaint is that their grilled "whitefish" meal is tilapia rather than cod or swai. Personally, I don't care for tilapia or trout, so having the menu specify exactly what "whitefish" is would have been welcome.
Food was fresh, service was with a smile, and menu provided optimum choices.
