Gotta say, these wings were excellent. I live in Las Vegas and we have a really good wing spot here that overcooked my wings last time I visited. Buffalo Wild Wings is trash now and it seems like everyone I talk to agrees with this so when I find good wings, it's a big deal. Sadly, these great wings are not in NV but they are in CO where my daughter lives and also where my brother lives so I do visit regularly.
I bought wings for my daughter and her family and I ordered the Golden Flame, the spicy Asian and whatever the heat level below Golden Flame is. The Spicy Asian wings were excellent, probably the best I've had anywhere. Definitely many times better than Buffalo Wild Wings Asian Zing, which I used to like before their quality dropped off but to be clear, these are better than what those were before their quality went in the crapper. My favorite by far though were the Golden Flame. The next level down is probably fine if you like a little less spice but the flavor of the Golden Flame was so good that I want to go into my kitchen and see if I can figure it out. I do make my own wings but it's n involved process and it's easier to just buy from a restaurant when I want a quick wing fix. In any case, if I'm going to figure out how to make my own when I'm back in NV, I need to esat a lot more of the original product when I visit CO so I'm looking forward to my next visit in February. Large variety of sauces you can sample! Wings are fresh and hot!! Small place but still worth going!!
Everything about Golden Flame is what I wanted. There is a lot of variety of sauces to choose from, the dry rub barbecue and the sweet and spicy Golden Flame sauce were incredibly flavorful. I could not stop eating the garlic fries, so crisp and the perfect amount of garlic salt! Service was impeccable as well, the manager even came out to check on us. As for atmosphere, there is an outside patio as well as inside dining with just enough TV’s to not be an in-your-face sports bar feeling. Highly reccomend Golden Flame for wings, fries, drinks and fun!
The owners are actually there working and I was pleasantly surprised because the wings are so good. I didn't realize how long they had been there. One of the owners actually took our order one day and he was so nice to my grandson. He actually recommended a sauce to him and let him taste it... he loved it. I'm pretty sure he gave us a few extra wings too. 😊 They serve a huge variety of in-house made sauces and they have ice cold beers. The wings were huge too. Delicious and hot. I highly recommend this place. 👍😃
This is by far the best wing place in town! Prices are well worth the quality of the food! Service is top notch, they always make sure you have exactly what you want and need! Only place we come to get wings now! And the sauce is incredibly generous!
What an awesome experience. Wings were crispy and coated well in sauce. Very good sauce flavors. The gentlemen working today provided amazing customer service and were extremely helpful!!! Please give recognition to your staff because it's refreshing to have a good experience in these times.
Huge wing fan here and the wings at Golden Flame were awesome. Not only was the food good, the service was impeccable! Everyone was so kind, patient, and attentive. I've never been there and am always hesitant to ask for samples. The cashier, Ness, was like "I'm happy to get you samples of anything - no pressure". And she did! I even ordered a flavor that I didn't try and she warned me to try it first. I've recommended this place to other wing fans and will plan on going again!
I placed a to-go order and noticed that it was missing some vegetables and extra sauce. It's happened before but no big deal. The chicken was hot and crisp and the fries were excellent. All in all a good experience. Would definitely recommend to others.
Golden Flame seriously has the best wings in town, they are not scrawny and they are so generous with their delicious sauces. Honestly it’s sorta a hidden gem! I have tried many things on their menu and have loved each of them. The jalapeño poppers are on point! Their fries are always fresh and top notch! Their wing sauces are just the best most flavorful ones you could ask for. 100% recommend to any wing enthusiast!
Small dining room with BIG flavor! Sample the sauce at the front counter, guaranteed something for everyone. The award winning Mountain Berry was delicious. Very impressed with the cleanliness and the front man Rick walked us through the flavors and menu like a pro! 10 out of 5 stars!
