Stopped in for breakfast — NOT disappointed! It was a really solid breakfast. Quite generous portions that were flavorful and hearty. Our group had French toast, an eggs Benedict, the Hobo Scramble, and pancakes. All were much enjoyed. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice morning. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Would totally visit again! Also, get a Cinnamon Roll if you can!

Get here early or late because space is limited, both in seats and parking and demand is high! The food portions are generous and the service is fast. Our waitress was very kind and the quality of the food made it a pleasant experience. The only drawback was that with limited setting, you kind of feel the need to hurry. Still, this is very much worth the visit for a hearty plate.

I rarely take the time to review breakfast spots because they are normally about the same, but it would be an injustice not to leave one for this place. I got the Sunrise Skillet while my family got the Cowpoke Skillet, French toast, and biscuits and gravy. All of it was absolutely phenomenal! Susie kept our drinks topped up, and the overall atmosphere was nice and lively. Everyone even joined in on singing happy birthday to an older fellow. Great food, great atmosphere, great experience. 5/5

Isabel and Mary Beth were great. Thank you so much for the great food and service. I had the chicken fried steak skillet and a blueberry pancake. They were so freaking good! Also the view ❤️

It was a spur of the moment after hiking 7 Bridges we decide to stop for lunch. We were very pleased with our experience. The server was friendly and quick with our order. Portions were huge considering the prices but tasty so we woofed it all down. We had the Eggs Benedict Classic, Chicken fried Chicken, Burrito and all were great! Will keep this on my list of places to return to.

My breakfast burrito at Susie's Westside Café was stuffed full of eggs, sausage, salsa and onions and topped with fresh green chili and cheese. It was excellent! My wife had the veggie omelet which she liked as well. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are very reasonable and seating is limited so show up early to get a table. Patio seating is also available with a beautiful view of Cheyenne Mountain.

After a busy Sunday morning, we were ready to settle down and enjoy some brunch. We decided to go south and enjoy Susie’s Westside Cafe. Walking into this establishment will give you all of the diner vibes! The seating area is cozy but fits the ambiance and vibe to a tee. Getting to watch the cooks in the kitchen makes you feel apart of the atmosphere. This family-owned establishment is true to its name as we had Susie the owner, be our waitress. She was everywhere and doing everything and her staff were all very attentive. The customer service was beyond impressive seeing that they were pretty busy the entire time. We ordered a lot of food without knowing it, but we didn’t have any food the entire day and it was almost 11:30. After being up for 8 hours, we were starving. We ordered a cinnamon roll and the full order of biscuits and gravy to start. These two items were highly recommended by others online and are what brought us to Susie’s. These came out fast and we were able to grab one of the last cinnamon rolls - which means if you want a cinnamon roll - come earlier than we did or else you might not get to try it! The cinnamon roll was beyond dreamy. The cream cheese frosting with the delicious warm cinnamon notes made this the highlight of the brunch. Both my wife and I love how the texture was perfect and incredibly sweet. I’m still dreaming about that cinnamon roll even a few days later! The biscuits and gravy is a generous portion and did not disappoint on the amount of gravy. There were a few bites though that were pretty cold rather than warm. That wasn’t ideal, but still a good hearty plate of biscuits and gravy. We then both ordered pancakes and we were not prepared to see that these were MASSIVE pancakes. We both ordered a side of bacon and I ordered some hash browns. The pancakes are good and compliment the syrup well. I finished my plate with no complaints. We loved the bacon; however, the hash browns needed some seasoning love as by themselves they are a little bland. Overall, this is a solid option in the Springs to go get breakfast, especially considering the price came out to under $40 (before tip) for a substantial amount of food. We will definitely be back.

I absolutely love this place. Found this place when i moved to Colorado Springs 4 years ago. I have since moved several hours away, but i make sure to stop in at Susie's every time i come to town. The food is homemade, tastes amazing, and the price is extremely reasonable. Also, you'll probably get to meet Susie's herself,

Home away from home. If I lived in Colorado Springs, I'd be here every day (which is what my friends who live here do). Great food. Great atmosphere. Terrific people who treat you like family.
