Came in on pi day and had a great time. Service was phenomenal. We had the rosemary pot pie and the vegetarian pot pie. They come as the whole pie which means more crust. There is no tin or ramekin. Everything is contained in delicious crust. So much flavor. Oh, their mashed potatoes tasted awesome as well. We also ordered a Cajun hand pie, slice of key lime pie, and slice of Nutella pie. Everything was really delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
Just the most wonderful place. All of the staff are very helpful, and knowledgeable about all of the restaurant's offerings. The owner is extremely good at wine pairings for all the different sweet, and savory pies, salads, and sides served.
Find it. Don't hesitate. You'll be happy you did!
Oh, and bring friends! They'll be impressed!
Loved this place!
You can tell that their pies are fresh and homemade. I had the Hunters Sammie and then the amaretto cherry pie for dessert and thoroughly enjoyed it, best pie Ive had. The people I was with all really enjoyed their food as well.
The service was quick and our server was very friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere is great, its a lovely place to sit down and enjoy your meal. Will definitely eat here next time we come through Colorado.
WOW - GREAT COMFORT FOOD !!!! Best Pies Ever !!!
Check it out --- This restaurant, the food is just downright amazing !! Everything is homemade, fresh and delicious. They have UNBELIEVABLE pot pies, not like anything store-bought. We had their "Not So Gringo" pork-green chile pot pie and an off-menu special pot pie called the "Sweeney Todd" which was an Italian-style Calzone-like Pot Pie (O-M-G !!!). Both of these were absolutely delicious - from the flaky crust to their incredible fillings. They were $10 bucks each which is more than reasonable for a sit-down, served meal. And their deserts ...WOW !!! Around a dozen homemade freshly made desert pies that'll blow you away !!!!. We had slices of a Chocolate Nutella Silk cream pie and a peach/blueberry blend fruit pie - These were BOTH just unbelievably awesome !! Our server was a sweetheart and did a really great job. This place is a diamond mine !!!
Great place. Cute and simple, they focus on delivering what they do best, PIE! All the crusts were flaky, buttery and delicious. We split a mushroom, bacon and cheddar quiche and a not so gringo pork green chili pie. Both were fantastic. The quiche was light and fluffy, but packed full of flavor. The pot pie was smart and well executed, served with mash potatoes that put my mother's to shame. For desert we had pie (shocking I know). Bacon bourbon pecan pie. Well you know I had to buy a whole one of those. It's so good. I think all other pie might be ruined for me now.
Cute, quite, charming little place. Stopped in for a slice of pie. It was my first time there so I had a few questions about the food and such. The very nice friendly girl behind the counter was very helpful and pleasant. I got the Wicked Dutchman Apple Pie, which the girl said had just come out of the oven 2 hours ago and that she could warm it up and top it with ice cream if I wanted.....so of course I said yes! :) Unfortunately they only had regular and decaf coffee (was hoping for a latte or something to pair with my pie) but they did have a variety of teas (Boston,Earl Grey,Citrus Green,English Breakfast, and Peach Fruit), all bags are hand tied. I had the Earl Grey. All and all it was good pie and tea and a nice little spot to chill and read. The staff was very attentive and nice. I also liked they had a little station where they had iced tea, hot water, teas, and etc (napkins, sugars, utensils etc). Definitely want to go back to try their savory pies and maybe a flat bread pizza.
Oh my pies! This restaurant was intriguing due to the mere fact that they serve not only pies but pot pies. A place to go where you can always have a slice of home but with an urban flair, not only in the decor but in the ingredients that are used. Cheeses that you may not have heard before and herbs that your mamma never used in her pies will start to excite your taste buds. Let's take The Molly for example; a vegetarian pie stuffed with parsnips, carrots, leeks in a creamy Gouda and sage sauce. Or their Norwegian Omelet stuffed with crimini mushrooms, crispy bacon and Jarlsberg cheese with a side of Gouda and bacon grits. Even their biscuits and gravy are not to pass up. Made with a sausage sage gravy and biscuits that are the freshest I've had at a restaurant before. It's like taking a bite of Thanksgiving. All of the dishes on their menu have ingredients that you wouldn't normally think to pair together, but once you read what's in them you can't wait to try them. They do not always have every pot pie that is available on their menu due to everything is made with fresh ingredients, but you can always call ahead to check out what is on their menu for the day. I'm excited to see a new restaurant that has such great quality of food and ingredients. Check out their website to view their delicious menu and their calendar for live music and special events. This is a local restaurant that definitely deserves some attention and appreciate!!
The staff were very friendly and attentive. We happened to visit on 3/14/2016, which is Pi Day. They were very busy and it took a while for our food to arrive, but it was worth it. I got the Chicken of Aragon. It is a chicken pot pie with bacon, carrots, and leeks in a Tarragon sauce. It's pretty amazing. I also got the Nutty Professor. It was a chocolate peanut butter pie. It was divine! They also had music, which contributed to a little noise, but it was a fun atmosphere. I will definitely be visiting again when I visit this area again.
It was really busy when we went. The seating was not great. We have a small child and there wasn't very many tables that weren't high tops or the bar. They were having a tasting of some items from there menu which was great. But the only table left we could sit at was right by the samples so we had elbows and butts in our bubbles. That's annoying. Very uncomfortable. The food was really good. The Rosemary's baby was so delicious. The flatbread pizzas were great as well. We had the Nutella pie and the pecan bacon bourbon pie. It was all very tasty. Next time we will get there earlier so we don't have the crappy table spot.
My wife and i went there for dinner on a Saturday. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We both started with the chicken taragon pie and we agreed it was excellent. The taragon was just right and all the flavors were well balanced. The crust texture was perfect.
For dessert we shared blueberry pie. Delicious and not overly sweet like so many desserts in so many restaurants.
We'll be back for sure.
The pie at Pi is very good! We sampled the key lime, bourbon pecan, and Nutella silk. All were delicious. The staff are very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. The service was surprisingly slow (approximately 10 minutes for 3 slices of pie with one other family in the place). That was only an issue because the music was surprisingly loud and jarring (for a pie place). Still, the pie (which was why we came) was outstanding. Still 5 stars.
A unique take on bar food with savory pot pies, poutine, and themed drinks. The flavors were nothing to write home about (standard American diner) but we're definitely tasty! The sweet pie selection is great. Would highly recommend picking up a pie for your turkey day celebration next week.
Absolutely delicious!! Party of four and we all had different items. Poutine, savory and dessert pies were amazing!! You will not go wrong. Cocktails were also good!
With a big family, we are always looking for options with great flavor but easy to split among the group. When that option is PIE it’s a win for all! Don’t let the location turn you away. This place is destined for big things. Our favorites were Julia’s Child for the savory and the Nutella Italian Silk for the sweet. Make this part of your Colorado Springs trip!
This place is beyond amazing! The name alone is fun! Come for PI 3.14 day or just come because it's that good! From the friendly staff to the amazing food, I don't think 5 stars is enough! I have allergies, so I couldn't partake in the Pot Pie, but my husband said it was AMAZING!
A wonderful little lunch spot my family and I discovered when we moved to the area. You have to get one of the pot pies and then a slice of one of their sweet pies. Their Italian sodas are also really delicious. Definitely stop in as soon as you can!
Pi = π = DELICIOUS!
Went here for lunch not knowing what to expect... Sweet pies or Savory pies. Good news.. they have Both! I had the Guinness pot pie and the side of Brussel Sprouts with BACON. I loved both and I normally hair Brussel Sprouts. 😂
We’re driving by from Florida and we stumbled upon this jewel on our way to Garden of the Gods! Their savory pies were amazing. We got the Guinness sakes and the Cluck n’shrooms pies, side of brussel sprouts, Mac & cheese, and bucket of fries. The Brussel sprouts were crispy and the Mac was cheesy. Our server was super nice and great energy. Would definitely recommend this place and come again if we were back in town!
Took a friend to celebrate her birthday and she and I were amazed at how wonderful our drinks, lunch and dessert were. We had coffee cocktails and I had the "Rosemary's Baby" pot pie with mashers it was excellent! We both had the Key Lime pie for dessert and I was SO happy as it was fabulous! The service was excellent and so was our food. We both are looking forward to returning to try some more of the food and drinks.
Definitely gets a 5 star review from us.
Great service and high quality pies! We enjoyed the sweet and savory pies as well as the Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Our food came out quick and at the perfect temperature.
