If you're looking for authentic Jamaican Flavor, this is where you need to go. My husband ordered the Jamaican jerk chicken with Jamaican rice and stir fried cabbage. I ordered the Jamaican curry goat. Both were delicious, however, don't get the goat if you're not willing to pick through bones. My assumption is that they cleave through bone and cook everything together. We also ordered Johnny cake which is a heavy fried sweet bread. It came with honey sauce and was very tasty!

All around awesome experience. Went here on a whim and was thrilled with my choice. The food is amazing, didn't have one part of the meal I didn't enjoy. The service was awesome and the owner sought to make my visit as comfortable as possible. A small business doing all the right things to make me come back!

Jamaican Delish!. I have never had Jamaican food before, I'd say most similar was Cuban I tried in Indianapolis at TaTa's Cafe. We stopped yesterday at Jamaican flavor wanting to try our new restaurant of the week and the outside and location made us hesitant to go in. It is in a "dumpier" part of town but I usually have good luck with hole in the wall spots so we went in. I ordered the Jerk Chicken, Spicy and my boyfriend had the Goat Curry. I LOOVEEEDD both! The Goat Curry was exceptional and very soft meat, my only issue was with finding bits of bone in your food. I understand it helps with the flavor and authenticity but it got annoying to try to make sure I didn't swallow any bone. My meal, the Jerk Chicken was SPICY and I frequently eat Spice so for those who can't handle much, get it mild! It was great though, spicy but still kept all the flavor. The fried plantains and jamaican rice were also great, loved the flavor especially mixing the chicken and sauce into the rice.

The staff were all so friendly and it was quite refreshing to hear their accents! Definitely give Jamaican Flavor a try, it was well worth it.

3 Jamacian Restaurants in Colorado Springs, this is my first one. I recently went to lunch with 4 friends of mine to Jamaican Flavor. We had 2 other options in the city (Island Flavor and Rasta Pasta), but this one was the closest. Getting to the front of the building is a little tricky, with a parking lot that looked like it came straight outta Detroit. The inside is small, and has 5 tables. The tables filled up quickly almost as soon as we sat down.

We were a table of 5 white guys, but the rest of the tables filled up with people that appeared to be native from the islands, but mainly military. The menu was small, but out of the 5 of us, we ordered 2 Jerk Chickens (spicy and mild), 2 Curry Goat Plates and 1 Ox Tail plate.

The two guys that had the jerk chicken plate enjoyed every bit of it, the one that had ordered the spicy version felt he was in a little over his head. The one that ordered the mild still thought it was spicy.

The guy who ordered the ox tail plate seemed to enjoy it, but the meat wrapped around the bone/cartiledge was tough and seemed to have a large amount of gristle around it. I don't know if this is what ox tail normally is like, but I didn't care for it.

I got the curry goat with my other friend and it came with rice and beans and 5 slices of fried plantains. The plantains were excellent and I wish I could have gotten more. The rice and beans were normal Louisana fare in my opinion, but the curry goat was chunks mixed in with small chunks of yellow potatoes (and of course, curry). The dish was spiced just right, but the goat had plenty of bones in it. My serving had 4 different bones ranging from small to large that were a little annoying to keep finding in my plate. My friend's goat was as if they shattered a goat leg with a baseball bat and cooked it, because he had over 12 pieces of bone he had to keep picking out of his mouth.

The food gets an "A" for authenticity, but I'd find a much more flavorful dish at a Greek place if I wanted to try non-everyday ethnic food again. The staff was courteous and very nice and their drink offerings were all very unusual, but very authentic. They have no fountain drink system, FYI, so you get soft drinks in cans and traditional island drinks in bottles.

I won't rate this place "like" or "don't like" though, because two of the guys had been here before and didn't particularly want to go again, but it was our boss had a craving for jerk chicken and he got his wish.

Maybe Rasta Pasta will change my mind on Island Food...

Pretty good and authentic Jamaican food. The guys are really nice and kind. The beef patty was good and actually a little spicy, we enjoyed it. The curry chicken and the jerk chicken were also good, and the portion was nice and big. I didn't really like the plantain, it felt really starchy and sour..like if it wasn't ripe enough. But everything else was pretty good! We also got a slice of banana bread and it was perfect. We will go back for sure! I recommend it!

My FAVORITE Jamaican joint. Best food for great price. I wanted to take a picture of the jerk chicken, rice and beans, with plantains, but I couldn’t wait to tear into it

Yummy! 🤤 This is honestly the only word to use. This food is amazing. I was a little nervous to try it. The platter looked different than the photos on the website. But it is amazing. Well worth the drive and money. Tasty and unique. Every bite is better than the last one.

I would come here pretty often and make it my business to get some Curry Goat but I stopped for a while(few years). Came back and ordered Curry Goat with rice and Cabbage. My Fiance' ordered the same thing but with Oxtails. The prices have gone up a little and the portion sizes have gone down(as far as what you get for meat from what I remember) but that's what happens when inflation hits and smaller restaurants have to compensate so I understand. Anyway, the meat was flavorful and tender. The rice was good but the cabbage was really bland. The bread you see pictured is pretty dense and fresh when you order. I use it to soak up the gravy that comes with the meat. Overall, we enjoyed our food, but it'll be a while before we come back. It's just the price and we don't always crave this particular cuisine like that. If you are looking for a pretty good jamaican spot on the south end of the springs or north of Fountain then this is it. Take Care.

Although delicious, he used a microwave to heat up the food. I guess that means it was homemade. Other than that, no complaints.

I have eaten here about once a week for the last 3 years. Food is always fresh, and very well done. You can tell he loves cooking for us and it’s made with love.

The curry chicken was tasty, but the cabbage was absolutely awesome. Came in towards the end of the night and the burners were turned off. Food was a little cold, but I see that as properly cooling before putting it in the walk-in. I would definitely recommend this place.

Coming from NY it's hard to find good food in Colorado, this is the best jamaican restaurant in Colorado springs and we have tried quite a few. The food was so good we went back a couple minutes later to get some more! The chicken was juicy, tender and everything was seasoned perfectly I would highly recommend this place!!

Truly the best food I've had in a long time. I've been here in Colorado for 5 months and no restaurant has topped this one. I recommend the Jerk chicken and curry chicken. Thankful to have this delicious restaurant close by. Keep it up man 💯
