If you enjoy tasty drink selections from the bar, aromatic Italian dishes that taste delicious, and pizza that seriously contends with the best in town, give B&B pizzeria a try. We got the meatball appetizer, the Vesuvio pizza, and a pale blue cocktail and everything was outstanding. The price was very reasonable for both the portion sizes and the quality of the food. We will definitely return to explore other menu options.
I’m definitely a sucker for Neapolitan style pizza. Basil and Barley is one of my favorites in town. One of the things I really like about this place is the menu isn’t traditional. Even their version of pepperoni is different, but in a good way. Instead of the same old toppings you get at most pizza places, here you get to experience new flavors. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great! I highly recommend you give them a try, you’ll be glad you did.
We've been here several times and been amazed each time. Recently went to a well reviewed, historic pizzeria in Boston but not even they could compete with Basil & Barley. Each pizza we've tried here has been great. Can't even pick a favorite because we love them all. The charcoal crust is special...you have to love it because of the beautiful color. I don't want this place to get so busy that the wait times increase, but I can't help leaving a glowing review.

Spectacular view off the back patio. Clean and nice layout. Amazing salads. Excellent seasonal beer list. Decent wine selection.
I really appreciated the gluten-free pizza options. Others ordered the regular pizza crust. They thought it was great! This is a solid pizzeria restaurant.
Good food, cold beer, awesome atmosphere -- can't ask for more than that! Oh, and as a bonus, the owners happen to be super friendly and are intimately involved with their business (you will most likely meet them). Also, post-card quality Rocky Mountain sunset moments (absolutely gorgeous!) can be had from the outdoor deck area. You won't regret visiting!

We had dinner at Basil & Barley Pizzeria March 21. These people make a really tasty Napoletan pizza. They have two different styles of crust. They make a traditional Napoletan crust and a more contemporary style "Signature" crust with the addition of charcoal. Apparently the charcoal is supposed to make the pizza more digestible, reducing belly bloat. I've never had a problem with bloating after a pizza for any reason other than I've eaten way too much. It's pizza, I'm gonna eat too much. Well, both crusts were delicious, both had fantastic thin, doughy chew. Toppings were all fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the sauce very much ... not particularly sweet (I prefer zesty to sweet).
While visiting Denver for work, we made a point to include Basil & Barley in our downtime activities. This was our 2nd time visiting, and it definitely did not disappoint. Thank you, Angelina, for putting up with our crazy group of 9 first thing after opening. We love Basil & Barley for the fresh ingredients, delicious charcoal pizza, and great service! We look forward to visiting again.
Very good pizza spot, we had a fancier pizza that was good but not a traditional style pizza. It was still very tasty, but I would recommend going with one of their more traditional options. I would definitely go back, the pizza was still very good.
Pretty good Pizza place. It’s a young guy that literally brought an old pizza oven from Italy. It’s a bit on the pricier side hence a slightly lower rating. But they had a great vibe and you can sign up for a loyalty program to save a little bit of money. Definitely fresh wood fired pizzas! Also awesome views of Pikes Peak and mountains!
