Ate here yesterday. I had the pork chops, mashed potatoes, vegetables. The pork was so tender and the bbq sauce had a kick to it. My friend had the mac and cheese, he loved it.
Only bad thing, they were out of their fabulous bread pudding.
The plating of the food was beautiful. Thanks for such a wonderful lunch. Excellent service, too.
The food is awesome. Honestly, surprising attention to detail for a 'bar and grill' type place. Plus, the staff rocks and the specials are enough to make you ome and check out what's on the menu!
Our family had dinner there on Friday night. I would say it is popular place! The food is awesome, draft beer as well. They have kids menu. If we would be in Colorado Springs, definitely will come back. Very fun time with friends and awesome food. We found parking on the parallel street. Highly recommended.
Everything we ordered was delicious. We left stuffed. Service was great. A little over priced but we loved the food and there were many other options on the menu we wanted to try I’m sure we’ll be back!
The food was so delicious 🤤 the chef was kind enough to make a few alterations. On the buffalo burger my husband changed the bread to sour dough and it was so yummy!! I chose a different cheese for my mushroom burger... So yummy 😋
They were a little short staffed but both waitresses were super nice. The bathroom needs updating and the seating is a little weird but overall the place was comfortable. I would recommend it! The food was amazing!!
Absolutely wonderful place. My goodness, they had the best Buffalo burger I've ever had. Cooked just perfectly. Pretzel bun, bacon, etc. All made it come together just wonderfully.
If you have room, the bread pudding is just amazing. So try that one.
The place itself just exudes the old time ambiance. I really like the interior design and layout and the nice bar.

One of the best pubs in old Colorado. Great atmosphere, not too loud but very popular. Great service, they are nice, attentive to special requests and make solid recommendations. The value to the quality is excellent. The food is very good. I recommend the Nachos with elk chili and of all thing the fried pickles did not disappoint. The beer selection,though limited for on tap, is great. I'd drive accross town to come again.
This was a good pub and restaurant. A few things on my order were incorrect but the staff quickly fixed our issues. I ordered wings, a burger and fries. The food was very good. My burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered one drink called The Rocky Mountain mule, and the drink was excellent. I highly recommend this pub, whether you are wanting a drink, food or both.
It’s been a long time since I have gone to Thunder & Buttons in Old Colorado City. It hasn’t been for any reason, we just haven’t made it there. I am so glad this is where we chose to go tonight. The food was beautiful, delicious and exactly what each of us wanted. We had wings for an appetizer (no pic-eaten before I thought about it), Surf and Turf sub extra veg for mash, Ultimate Mac-n-Cheese, and the O’Byrne Burger (all pictured but dim lights did not do justice to the true experience). It was so good. Service was solid, not hurried, gave time to enjoy our meals. I wish I could remember our servers name because she rocked. Definitely a place to get back to more frequently.
I have found my favorite spot in the Springs now!!

Very relaxing bar. Food was great! Had the Chili Mac and the Fried Calamari. The Chili Mac had a very smooth texture, and the Calamari wasn't rubbery. It was perfectly cooked. The Garlic chili sauce was perfect! The Calamari had the perfect blend of slight heat with good, rich flavor.
I would definitely eat here again!
Delicious food, good prices, friendly staff, and fun Colorado decor on the walls. We got the bison burger and elk sandwich and both were great! Highly recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys delicious meats you can’t get many other places :)
