I was on the fence with the reviews I’ve seen. So long as you’re not an unreasonable person, I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful meal. Our waitress was Jamie. She was prompt, friendly, courteous, and more than willing to ensure we had a great meal. There are some unique menu offerings here, which I would suggest! I had the prosciutto wrapped cod. Nothing crazy, but a unique plate that was quite tasty!
This was my first visit and the whole feel of the place was inviting. Our server was very knowledgeable. The food was amazing- I had the pasta with pesto and shrimp and the chocolate seduction- yes please!! We were celebrating a birthday and stayed for a little over two hours. While it was a busy night, we never felt rushed to leave. Definitely going back!!
Always excellent service, and the food and wine selections are excellent! Drew is one of the best bartenders/servers around! We’ve never been disappointed bringing guests to this gem of an Italian restaurant!
Great atmosphere! Service was very helpful and informative. Very knowledgeable about dishes and suggestions. It was ok diner drive-in and dives. Servings are very filling! Will eat again
Fabulous restaurant, GREAT GREAT food and service, traveled from Westcliffe,Co (70mi) for lunch with my husband, great waitress too! Had the Veal Maleanese. loved it.
This is my favorite restaurant in town! I'm a transplant from Boston, and Italian, leave it to some brothers from Boston to make authentic and delicious Italian! There is no other Italian restaurants that compare.
Best Italian in Colorado Springs. First time eating there and I thought it was great. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The server was prompt to take our drink and appetizer orders. This brings me to the only negative I experienced all night... the ceasar salad. Lettuce was limp and barely cold. I also found several dead pieces, so I called the server over and asked it be taken off my bill ($2 extra). It was promptly replaced with a house salad which was delicious, as was our appetizer of fried calamari. It was perfectly cooked, nice and tender. Not overcooked and chewy which is too often the case at other places.
For our entrees, I had the seafood fettuccine with a tomato cream sauce and my husband had a seafood pasta with a white wine garlic sauce. Nice big portions and again totally delicious with the seafood being cooked perfectly. I can't wait to have my leftovers tonight for dinner!
As far as drinks go, I ordered a martini with a twist and was very pleased. It was huge, probably close to double the amount other places serve. And the wine we chose from that night's specials menu was fantastic.
So all in all, Paravici's earns 4 stars from me. Great food, casual atmosphere, great prices. Just don't bother with the caesar salad.
Great Find. Great small Italian restaurant. Great atmosphere. Wonderful food.
First night in Colorado Springs and were so happy to find this gem. Food was delicious and came out so quickly! Wonderful!
Great experience. Excellent service, from the moment we walked in the door until we left full & satisfied 2 hours later. We lucked into a table with a great view just as the sun dropped behind the mountains. The angry calamari was a delicious twist on an old favorite, and our entrees were excellent as well. We wrapped up our meal with house-made desserts and espresso. We can't wait to go back!
VERY yummy! Service was great too. A winner!!
Date Night. Very good atmosphere. Defiantly no complaints with service or the food, Eggplant dishes here were amazing! Thank ya Paravicinis for a great night.
Amazing, delicious, authentic restaurant. My husband and I have never had Italian food this authentic or seafood that delicious. It is worth the drive and the price! Definitely book a reservation, it is usually crowded especially in the evenings. Service was spot on, the wine, bread, main courses and dessert were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!
Worth the wait! It was busy on a Monday night, that's how you know it's good. We ordered the calamari with peppers, olives and capers. The blend of flavors was a symphony to the palette! The Carmella pasta was delicious as well! We can't wait to come back and try different dishes. This will definitely be our go-to authentic Italian restaurant.
Friendly staff. Good hours, fun atmosphere, and great food of all sorts for a weekend walk-in party! We were ten people in all ages. Mighty fine selection of adult beverages! Look for the blue awning and walk back upstairs.
Chef Franco and his team are phenomenal!!!
Service 5+ stars!
Food 5+ stars!
Atmosphere 5+ stars!
We had dinner upstairs at Restaurant Di Sopra.
The Harvest dinner was excellent! No detail was forgotten, and Chef stopped by the table for a hello.
We ate out on the covered patio which was fine but a little warm in the sun. Food was great, nice warm bread for the table to start. Server was great, hostess a little less so, we seemed to be a major inconvenience by not having reservations.
The menu is traditional and still imaginative with all the options you could ever want. The food was extremely tasty and prepared exquisitely. The service from Danny Ray was absolutely top notch. He greatly elevated the entire experience with thoughtful suggestions and appropriate recommendations. We will definitely be back and also plan on visiting Sopra as well.
The young ladies at the front (blonde and brunette) are the best hostesses I've encountered in a long time. They were extremely welcoming, conversational and helpful. I felt very seen and appreciated.
Donny Ray was an excellent waiter. The place is a little pricey, but the food is good. Would love it if they turned the AC on a bit more in the summer heat.
Wine pours are small for the price. The bar only has 4 seats and the place gets pretty packed at dinner time .
Nice place for a good Italian meal. The Bruschetta with tomatoes and goat cheese appetizer was delicious and can be shared with four people. Our pasta dishes were tasty. The spaghetti pomodoro was al dente and fresh. The cod special was good but the cod was dry. The portions are generous and filling. Our waitress was very nice and prompt. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. Even though it seemed loud, we were able to have a conversation with our table of four. Busy Thursday night!
Best food I’ve had in a while. The shrimp and scallops were perfection. The house salad was the best salad I’ve ever had. A must try if you’re in town!!
I thought that I had had good Italian food in my life before I walked in the door of Paravicini's. The great atmosphere, music, people... then came the food. I can not describe the quality in each bite. You have to try this for yourself and make your decisions... but you must try it!
