Holy cow was I blown out of the water by this place! Just like the fish/shellfish I ate! I recommend the scallop sushi and also the entire menu!!!
Just has some delivered via skip the dishes and omg it was amazing! Definitely have a new favorite sushi spot!!!

I ordered for pickup during quarantine- was supposed to leave for Japan the day I went, so I thought picking up some Japanese food would make me feel better. I was right- the food was delicious and the staff was so friendly! I ordered cream cheese and cucumber sushi and vegetarian yakisoba, both were very good. The owner even gave me some miso soup on the side ☺️ I highly recommend this place!
Omg Is the best restaurant in Cleveland! I came to Cleveland for 5 days and eat here 4 times! The treatment Is so gooood, and the food is awesome! 5 stars for sure!
I can't say enough good things about Sapporo, the sushi is simply exquisite, but the pork dumplings - oh do yourself a favor and order more than you think you'll want. They are that good. My wife and I just adore the food and even in take out, the rolls are presented beautifully and they are perfectly wrapped each and every time. Do go and support this amazing Cleveland gem.

The food here is always consistent-- we order here pretty regularly (like 2-3 a month) and i have only had maybe 1 or two times in the course of a year and half that ever had an issue in consistency, quality, or the order. We order large orders and they are always right and delicious! Really good seaweed salad and sashimi and the rolls are not overdone with rice which i think can ruin a sushi roll. They are really nice to us and the lady working there always says hi to me when i pick up my order!
Absolutely the best sushi in the Cleveland area! Because of my passion for sushi, I have tried every place in the area as well as places like Sushi Nakazawa in NYC and Sukiyabashi Jiro in Tokyo. The chef at Sushi Sapporo really knows what he is doing and the price is very reasonable. The chef’s wife is super nice and friendly. Apparently, she is a great cook as well. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed!

One of the best sushi spots in Downtown Cleveland. Fairly priced witch an expansive menu. In a intimate location great for solo dining. Food always comes quick and service is always amazing. The only downfall is their awkward hours.
Sapporo Sushi is a great little hole-in-the-wall sushi shop in downtown Cleveland. The entire restaurant seats maybe a total of 20 people, with the kitchen and sushi bar taking up the majority of the restaurants space.
Come hungry and come early if you want to get a seat. The sushi is always fresh and remarkably delicious. Depending on how busy they are it can take some time to get the sushi, but it is definitely worth it in the end.
Enjoyed getting take out here. The family that owns the place is lovely, the kids were doing homework while mom took my order. If food was delicious and very reasonably priced very tender sushi, clearly very fresh. Definitely a casual place, not somewhere to go for a romantic dinner. It was just what I was looking for to take back to my hotel.
