One of our favorite summer outdoor activities is sipping brews while listening to live music. This venue ranks at the top! Yesterday (July 9th) my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Abby Normal and the Detroit Lean on a spectacular summer day. You just can't beat the ambiance of this place. The scenery, the festive atmosphere, and the smiling, always friendly staff make the Still & Eatery a Cleveland gem.
We had the opportunity to meet Mr. Poole, the general manager, who was busy running food orders to tables and chatting with customers. He is passionate about providing a great experience for his patrons, and he explained the challenges of inclement weather and keeping a high quality, manageable menu for the always varying crowd sizes. I have to say that the food, though limited on busy weekends, has never been disappointing. Our burgers yesterday were outstanding. The prices for food and drink are quite reasonable.
If you enjoy great local musicians, sunsets over Erie, cold beverages, and good food... this is a summer 'must do'!
We had a private event at Whiskey Island this June. The food was very good. The guests really liked it. The best part may have been the staff. They were great to deal with. My guests raved about how helpful and friendly the staff was. If you are considering Whiskey Island for a private event I would encourage you to try it. We were happy we did.
Great atmosphere. Casual place to have drinks and listen to music. Small food menu if eating. They had a band there when we went. Nice to sit by the water.
I went there to see a band and I loved their music selections! The environment was a totally casual crowd. There was a blend of ages but nothing else. It was cool to sit at a table and just listen to some music. I also enjoyed the seeing all the boats! One last thing they had this fun flash sale on their merch so there were cheap and fun take aways!
We spent the day at Whiskey Island Still & Eatery. Which is a nice spot on the Lake Erie shore with great lake views. They are located next to Wendy Park, which also has great views of the lake. They have a great patio with picnic tables, an area near the outside bar with tables & chairs, and a grassy area to park your own chair. The inside bar area is small. But most people are outside.
Today, there was a great band (56 Daze) out of Toledo that played all afternoon. People were up and dancing, which helped the atmosphere to be very lively. The weather helped to make the day great. Usually, there are bands here on the weekends.
This is also a great place to bring a dog. On this day, there were quite a few dogs here. And they seemed to be having as good of a time as the people were. On most days you will find small children in the outside area here as well.
This is a boaters paradise all of the time, but you don't need a boat to have fun here. This is a great place to bring friends, meet friends, or make new friends. If you don't have a nice time, it's your own fault.
There is a very limited food menu, mostly burgers, fish, & wings. But the food is good and fresh. The food is not unique in any way, but it is good nonetheless. Everything I have eaten here has been good. But to be honest, you are coming here for the people, drink & atmosphere, not for an out of the world meal.
The staff and servers are always smiling, happy, and friendly. The service can be real fast, real slow, or anywhere in between. It really depends on how many patrons are there and the staff size that day. But don't be afraid to stop. They will do their best to get to you. Enjoy the vibe while you wait.
Enjoy your next visit!
First time at Whiskey Island and this establishment. Good drink deals and the food menu had plenty of options. Due to it being a rainy day, it was not as busy as I heard it can be. I heard they have bands and a lot of people who boat in. Definitely worth checking out. This is right by Wendy Park which has a bridge to the West Bank of the Flats.
What a terrific day, mus I c was outstanding. Kc and Co. Kelly was tremendous. What a terrific band snd great singer. Place was packed. Service was outstanding and very friendly.

Great place to go and enjoy live music. Has good ample space and overall a great crowd.
Went and saw a Steely Dan cover band. They were great. It’s a nice venue in the summer to see live music. As far as the food, it’s basic and not worth the price. The servers do their best, but it’s so busy they get sidetracked so it takes awhile for them to check on you. Obviously you’re paying for the experience and not so much the food.
Great place to eat, drink, listen to live music & relax by the water. The grounds are clean and well maintained with pretty landscaping. The metropark system has done a fantastic job in renovating all of Cleveland's public waterfront properties. Most concerts are free. They have a restaurant and full bar. You can sit under the huge awning by the bar, or sit at a picnic table with an umbrella. Amazing & wonderful! Well done: thank you.
Great atmosphere and location. Service was great considering every table was occupied and a lot of people standing. Limited food menu but the burger, salad, and fries were excellent. Ordered the walleye sandwich originally but they ran out.
Great outdoor space, especially fun with live music. Friendly servers. The walleye & street corn are delicious!
