Never had a bad experience here and I've been a good handful of times. Staff is always friendly. The service is quick and on point. I recommend the gravy cheese fries. Definitely a Cincinnati staple!
First time there was 39 years ago, moved away 36 years ago. I go back to visit family every couple of years like I am now and the chili and everything else hasn’t changed, they opened in 1964, and I could smell the chili cooking from my apartment four blocks away. DELISH. You must try it when in Cincy.

This place does not disappoint. Respectfully, it’s a hole in the wall… which are my favorite types of restaurants. The food is always fresh and delicious. I am obsessed with the gravy cheese fries. They are a staple at this restaurant. Honestly, everything is extremely good on the menu. If you find yourself in Cincinnati, you have to eat here.
Cash only. Great 3 way spaghetti and chili dish I had with a coney island hot dog. I made sure I tried those 2 things here. They delivered for sure. This place and Skyline I'd say are Top 2
Extremely crowded if you don't come at the right time. Not the best dine in experience but the staff is nice considering they work very hard.
Great spot! Very customer first. Chili has nice spice and thickness. Coney comes covered with lots of cheese. It's in the top three of chili parlors!

The food is good. The service was great. It's definitely in a run-down area, but there is plenty of light in the parking lot (had someone ask for money as I was entering the restaurant).
This is the restaurant that we all frequented for food after going to the bars for many years when I was younger. Most of the items are high in fat but full of flavor. I had the reuben and gravy cheese fries, and both were delicious. It's more of a "hole in the wall" type place, but I'll definitely be back.
Great little chili parlor on the Cincinnati chili trail! Delicious food and speedy service for a busy place! The staff was very nice! High recommend! The only thing I can say bad is that it is cash only, so there is an ATM inside you can use, but it charges $3.00 service fee.
A good place to eat. It's a throwback place that serves just that, good old fashioned blue collared food. Double Deckers, burgers, chili and pies. Definitely get the World famous Gravy Cheese fries! Best with hot sauce. One of the best diners in the city. CASH ONLY! Tip well too! They work hard.
My husband and I went there and the food was amazing hands down the best Cincinnati style chili I've ever had!! The service was on point our waitress was really nice and made sure we had everything we needed and the food is reasonably priced as well and is very affordable for a family to go and eat for less than $50. The only down fall about this place is that when we left there was a lady asking us for money. Other than that it's a wonderful place to eat and will definitely be back!
Really reasonable prices on their menu compared to most other restaurants. Limited seating available inside. It was extremely busy when I stopped here for lunch. There were no seats available so I asked a family if I could sit on the end of their table. They allowed me to sit there, then without notice, my bill was paid in full by that family. It was really unexpected but very generous.
Food was good, portions were large, prices were low. This all makes for a positive experience.
The only Cincinnati chili I ate before this was Skyline. This was much better. Best I had except mine. Gravy and cheese on fries sounds strange, but it was delicious. Owner is of Greek descent. His mom makes Baklava to die for.
