Food was amazing. Life changing hummus. Every dish was incredible and well composed. Cocktail selection is excellent. The course pacing was perfect. The atmosphere was nice and the service good but didn't feel special. Food makes it worth it for the price.

This experience was awesome. Food was delicious and service was great. The only things is I wish they paced the courses slower. And another thing would be clearly noting which dishes are veggie friendly as I had this noted in my reservation and a few items we ordered I didn’t know were not vegetarian. Overall would love to come back.

Great takes on middle eastern dishes. Nothing was one-note, and many dishes were playful surprises from the kitchen. Menu is prix fixe with variations - I want to go back and try some of the items that I missed!

The hummus, bread, salatim, drinks, and dessert are excellent. I would come back for just these items. I especially loved the pawpaw daiquiri and phyllo pie! The turkey was very tender and juicy but wasn’t shawarma? I ordered it expecting thin spicy meat. Then the mushroom schnitzel was greasy. The veggies in all the entrées were delicious though.

Food was decent but not respective of a Michelin Star restaurant in my opinion with the exception of 1-2 really good dishes. High quality pita bread too. Despite these points, the rest of the dishes were mediocre. The drinks were very well made too. All that being said, the service was fantastic! One of the hostesses took the time to write a birthday card for my Saudi wife in Arabic which she absolutely loved! Server was also very attentive and friendly. It was very crowded, however. All things considered, would likely not return for just the food but certainly would for the service and vibe!

Decided to try out Galit with a friend for a casual Friday night dinner. We were able to sit right in front of the kitchen, which was fun to watch everyone working their magic. Service was great, menu was diverse and atmosphere was fun. Words if we use- go hungry because you will be full! I loved that it was a choose your own adventure dining experience, which jeans it would be great for a date night. A combination of sharables is perfect for adventuresome diners! I highly suggest this Michelin star restaurant next time your unsure of what your in the mood for. I bet you’ll be able to find items on this menu that will please your pallet and belly.

This place is very expensive, but it is VERY much worth it if you have a big enough group. Everything about this place just proves that it deserves the Michelin star it received. The service is great, our waitress was courteous but also personable. She did a great job explaining the menu items as well as how the service was going to work. The food is also incredible. Of course some items, in my opinion, were better than others but you could really appreciate the variety of the dishes and their flavor profiles as they came out. A huge stand out in my opinion was the lobster dish which was so good we got an extra serving of it afterwards. If you have the money, give this place a shot! It will be a night to remember for sure.

Incredible food served in small plates on a prix-fixe menu. No disappointing dishes, a clear attention to detail, and some of the best service we have had. The salatim was incredible with only simple ingredients and simple preparation. Some of the best pita we've had. Easily the hummus we've ever had. The labneh was so tangy and balanced by the hyssop and sumac. We ordered the heirloom tomatoes and the kubbeh halab, both were solid. The maqluba was stunningly good and the cripsy rice came out perfect. The lamb mergeuz also did not disappoint. Drinks were good with interesting, distinct flavors. However, the real highlight was the rice pudding. It was the only thing we could order due to allergens and we weren't super excited, but it blew us away. The cruncy chocolate moose underneath added a great dimension. The candied ginger and two different types of carmelized pears were delightful. We couldn't recommend it more. My partner has a tree nut allergy and our waitress took the time to hand mark the menu with what had nuts and what could have the nuts substituted out. They were intentional about still bringing the nut elements for me to combine in my portions.

Our experience at Galit was enjoyable. We visited on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was quite busy - the interior and ambience is lovely, though the environment felt a bit noisy due to the closely spaced tables. The food truly shined in the first course with the Hummus and Salatim. Bubbe’s Brisket and Masabacha Hummus were incredibly smooth and rich. The Ezme Salatim was outstanding with the nutty flavor and paired excellently with the warm, fluffy pita bread. As for the second and third courses, the Foie Gras, Iraqi Kubbeh Halab, Striped Bass, and Smoked Turkey Shawarma were pleasant. However, the Pastrami felt a bit dry, and the radicchio salad in the dish was overly salty. The Rice Pudding was excellent, and the Mousse Cake was richer than expected. Overall, the hummus and Salatim were definite highlights (and quite filling), while the subsequent courses, although not quite reaching the same heights, still delivered flavorful and enjoyable experiences.

A delicious and fun experience, albeit quite overpriced and a somewhat rushed. Superb and creative drinks with unique flavors and aromas. Especially impressed by arak menu, their specialty drinks, and wine list. Our server was engaging and knowledgeable. Ordering is easy and all the dishes are shared. Highlights of the food included the pits, hummus thin and and hummus masabacha, all the salatim but especially the ezme, also the carrots, heirloom tomatoes, and bass. The standout was the maqlubah. The desserts were good, but not great, which was fine since we were stuffed, though the mahleb cheesecake was excellent. The only downside was the servers who brought out several dishes at once and were quick to clear, creating a bit of a rushed feeling. We weren’t able to hear or ask what was being brought out since they were working so quickly. For $165 per person and everything else being so wonderful, I’d have expected not to be rushed. But it still is 5 stars.
