Food was delicious but service left something to be desired. We made a reservation for restaurant week but were rushed by staff even though the restaurant was basically empty for our 530 reservation. I wasn't finished with my steak when they brought out desserts awkwardly with not enough room on the two person table.
Delicious food and a great beer selection! Food menu, while small, has a great variety and you can tell the chicken staff puts work into quality dishes. The bar area offers self-service drafts if you don't want to sit (or can't find room) at the bar. Floor to ceiling windows keep the interior nice and bright during daylight and keep a nice open feeling at all times.
Prices aren't bad, in line with other local establishments and nothing higher than you'd expect out of a hotel bar.
Went during restaurant week and the set menu was delicious! They also have a great selection of cocktails, beer and wine. I'll definitely have to visit again to try from the regular menu.
It was delicious! Nice atmosphere ,Relax , great service. The scallops were perfect caramelizad Romanesco fennel golden raisins red pepper mousseline. The Vidalia onion & Brie Fondue with grilled flatbread was perfect, The Charred Brussels Sprouts are divine. The best is Happy Hour every day from 3:00pm to 7:00pm
So we stopped here for a few drinks. The beer selection was great. Lots of local brews. All micro brews on tap. We were able to sample multiple beers at a fair price.
Great option for a hotel restaurant. Loved the brussel sprout side. The diablo burger was delicious. Not what I would call diablo hot but it was tasty.
It's actually called "The Ridley" now and it's located inside (or at the bottom of) The Draftsman Hotel. The menu was smaller then expected for such a nice restaurant, but that may be from when COVID first started? The food was good, but not Great. I got the Pork Chop, which was good, but it had a some fatty pieces on it that I couldn't eat. It was tender enough that I didn't realize it still had the bone in it at first because I cut right through it. The fingerling potatoes were not as tender as you would have expected, almost like they were taken out of the boiling water a few minutes too soon. The Limoncello Martini was delicious though!
Everything was delicious, service was great! I went with a large group: We ordered the house white wine off the generous happy hour menu (7 days/week until 7 pm) and it was excellent. Appetizers of the Brussels sprouts, fries, brie, and fried green tomatoes and each one was sooo good. The half chicken entree was popular with the group and very well received. Moist and tasty! The scallops were rich but not overwhelming.
Overall, excellent experience and will definitely go back!
