Sesame shrimp...yes, please!!! Someone who doesn't even like shrimp tasted a piece from plate and wanted more. It was that good. The menu is almost endless, so I'm definitely going back to try something new next time.
I love this place. All of the dishes I’ve had have been delicious. The only thing that isn’t good is their egg rolls, spring rolls and calamari. It tastes like it came out of a grocery store. I feel that being that their food is so fresh and delicious I was very disappointed to see that they sell frozen calamari. The calamari should be hand breaded and fried by them. I hope they change this.
I met my husband there for lunch. We like to come here for lunch because of the fabulous sushi special.
Service is always friendly.
Also, complaintary soup of choice for dining in.

This little gem was well worth the 45 drive. Best sushi I’ve had in this area. Presentation beautiful! You can tell the care and pride that goes into their sushi and their other Asian dishes. Reasonably priced too. Your won’t be sorry!
Masa Sushi is a somewhat small but cozy restaurant with really nice, friendly staff. My order began with the Unagi Nigiri (BBQ Eel) which was excellent & 2 nice size pieces of Unagi.
I didn't realize how big the portions would be so I ordered the Shrimp&vegetable Tempura Appetizer... it was really a meal in itself... and then the Pork pad Thai noodles which had alot of pork & was very tasty😋
I gave the hostess/waitress a nice CASH tip ... it's better to leave cash tips since staff don't have to report the full amount if it's not documented on the credit card & they work hard for their tips.
I only wished they would give soup or salad included as a dinner side.
However ... Everything was excellent & I highly recommend Masa Sushi for the best Asian food I've had in Charlotte or anywhere else in NC for that matter.
Stopped here after a day at Carowinds and it was the perfect sushi spot. Service was friendly and quick and the sushi was delicious. Will plan to stop here whenever we are in the area again. The Fusion Roll is awesome!
Great sushi and friendly, accommodating staff despite being flooded with orders! Really enjoyed the dinner. What stood out most is that the basic rolls seem to be made with just as much care and good ingredients as the special rolls, and I really appreciate that.
Solid sushi but not much here besides the standard fare of salmon, eel and shrimp with various other trimmings to make somewhat unique rolls. Not bad for a sushi fix, but if you want something amazingly different you should probably keep looking.
We love Masa Sushi and try to go whenever we're in that side of town. I had a tuna, yellow fin, and an avocado sushi roll. My wife had vegetable lo mein with broccoli. The broccoli sauce was way too salty. They took it back and gave her just plain steamed broccoli. The kids had sesame chicken with lo mein. We really enjoy the food and the service. They also give you a complementary soup. I had the egg drop and the rest had wonton soup. Very good and a nice way to start lunch.
In the past we had a problem with the kids drinks coming with a faulty lid and my daughter got drenched with her drink. We were happy to see that they changed to a more secured lid. Thank you, guys.
Best sushi around! Always fresh! Amazing service from the admin taking in all call orders! Place gets POPPIN! Delivery servers are on point!
