I had an incredible dining experience at La Shish Kabob! The food here is simply amazing, especially the lamb shank. It’s cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. The menu offers a delightful range of options that cater to various tastes. All the food is halal!

The Palestinian-owned place has many great options on the menu and a nice, casual atmosphere with family-sized meals. If you're looking for halal food in Charlotte, this is the restaurant you need. I tried 'Adana Shish Kebab' and 'Chicken Shawarma Plate' at La Shish Kabob restaurant. Your stomach will be filled with joy when you finish your plate.
First time patronizing this establishment with my wife and eldest daughter, and the food was delicious. Excellent mixed Kebab, vegetarian plate of hummus, babaganoush, grape leaf wraps, lettuce and tomatoes, and falafel balls, as well as delish lentil soup, and Shawarma with hummus. And then the desserts. Definitely a place well worth visiting if you're in Charlotte and seeking Middle Eastern cuisine. This place will not disappoint.
I have spent a long time looking for a good Persian place in Charlotte and im so glad I finally found this place! The rice is flavorful, the meat is SO tender, and the portion was great. I will be going back weekly! Ordered on DoorDash.
This place is a middle east restaurant cuisine. and it has one of the most delicious dishes around Charlotte. The lamb is super tasty tender. They have different selections at the menu but they can also work around if you feel like ordering something different from the menu, the food, it looks to me that is very fresh. I have that number the number 11 this time from the menu with lentils soup. I definitely recommend this place. 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hidden gem in the Charlotte area. Is not a traditional restaurant, they also sell marinated/raw meat I think. Their food quality and quantity is mouth watering. We ordered Cornish Hen with Rice and New York style Shawarma. Both of these were delicious, especially the Cornish Hen, the meat was so moist and flavourful, I could have eaten 2-3 of those! Their lentil soup in the sides was also scrumptious! Don't miss this place if you are in the area.
I’ve always passed by and been intrigued. I was going to go in and just order a gyro to try it out. Once I entered, the cashier helped me choose the Combination Kabob platter as I really like kabobs.
It comes with rice, onions, beef, lamb and chicken, a wrap and also a side. I chose tzatziki cucumber sauce as my side, it was so fresh and had actually chunks of cucumber in it. I actually was able to just eat my wrap with it by itself and drizzled it over my platter as well. Finally there was a side of garlic mayo that I didn’t try but should have and also a side of fresh puréed jalapeño that I put onto my platter and it was so good.
I did also get some hot sauce because I love it on everything.
Literally so delicious, definitely large enough to share as I had plenty leftovers.
Feels like a deli when you walk in and see the display counters and overhead menu display, but there are tables on the other side for dining in.

One of the best places to satisfy your middle eastern cravings. Their adana and lamb kebob sandwiches were awesome and perfectly marinated. Rice with cornished chicken were wholesome and chicken was very tender and NY style shawarma rice platter was very saucy and full of flavor. Lentil soup felt so warm and homely. Its pocket friendly and Halal which was great for a family of 4. I recommend this place!
First thing I’ve noticed as I walked in a yellow sign hanged from the ceiling saying “since 1985” so the restaurant should be more organized because they been in the business long time but it’s kind of messy.
I ordered takeout dinner for 5 and it was ready in 15 minutes which was quick.
Food tasted good but Kababs were dry, love the green jalapeño sauce, my wife ordered Adaina Kabab platter and the Kabab smells funny like the meat was not fresh, I also ordered Philly sandwiches but I think it’s not their specialty so it was just ok.
I’ve also noticed over priced menu, I understand it’s getting expensive everywhere but the quality of food you get doesn’t worth that much money.
I give them 7 out of 10 and 4 stars for good customer service and taste.
