Awesome food selection of chicken salads types, breakfast. Coffee is good. Only complaint is that it closes at 4pm. I would definitely spend more time here if opened later. Good place to chill and meet friends. ,
We got this as a choice for work lunch one day and wow! So good! One of the best chicken salad sandwiches I’ve had! I got the harvest one. Has grapes & walnuts. Yum. Great flavor, nice & whipped consistency. I’ll be going again for sure! Simple menu, but don’t be deceived, it’s delicious if you love chicken salad. They have many different flavor combos to choose from!
Great tomato bisque. Loaded chicken salad was good but I was expecting it to be more flavorful. Cappuccino was delicious. GREAT spot to sit and work or have a one to one meeting. Easy parking. Will be back.
2022 Update: Covid and construction has really put a damper on the offerings from Mayobird. They moved to a pickup window location and have cut out all hot dishes. I hope they are able to set up in a full location again soon but for now be aware that the ancho ranch dipping sauce, soups, and any other hot offerings they used to have are not available (really missing the chicken salad melt!) BUT the chicken salads they sell are still the best anywhere.
2018: Love this place and so glad they have this location! I’m not a fan of chicken salad, normally, but I really love the Real Dill and the Loaded and the boyfriend loves the Buffalo.
Also - THEY HAVE THE GOOD ICE!!
Give them a try even if you don’t usually like chicken salad because it’s much better than ordinary chicken salad!
Tried four different chicken salads. Yum yum yum!!!! Generous portions as well. The fried pita points are wonderful. Visited twice in a week.
Pricey but delicious! I love curry chicken salad and the broccoli salad with bacon was so gooooood! Perfect quick lunch spot.
Chicken salad is always delish (they serve it in a number of ways) and the ambiance is nice. Cute place to work remotely, as well. Coffee is pretty good, too. I like how they give you the option to round up your bill to donate to a local charity.
Super cute decor is fine, but the Tomato Bisque soup and any chicken salad concoction is oh so delicious!!!
Stumbled upon the new location for coffee one morning and it is hands down the best coffee we’ve had in Charlotte. We grabbed a curry chicken salad as well and it was incredible! Seriously make time for a stop here, the staff is amazing!
