Great local diner! Prices are good and the food is amazing! I recommend the fish sandwich with tartar sauce & coleslaw!!
Worth going to eat and food is really good
The food here was excellent and the prices are cheap! Service was also above par. It order was taken quickly and the food came out to our table within 10 minutes. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to have a cheap but quality breakfast.
Sammy’s is awesome. We will definitely be coming back. It’s a nice spot where you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Quick service and friendly staff. Everything is served on paper/plastic plates. As long as you know what you are getting, this place rocks!
Good food, great price. Can be greasy, but the flavors are right on. The service is friendly and fast. If anyone remembers breakfast at John's, this is as close as you can get now in the Plaza Midwood area. Bonus, they do lunch also.
I am so sorry that I just discovered this place. I've driven by for years but never stopped. But I finally did and I realized what I had been missing. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly.
I am very particular about how my eggs are cooked, but every time I've ordered them from here, they have been cooked just as I like.

Outstanding food selection, quality, quantity and price. My personal favorites are the fried flounder, marinated tenderloin tips, and the chuckwagon sandwich. The green beans are very good as well as the French fries.

I'm a fan of Sammie's. True enough, the service could be better but for the price, the food is AWESOME. My personal favorite is the fried founder. And I don't like seafood, but this place makes me want...... fried flounder as often as I can get it.
The breakfast is always delicious! They even have livermush on the menu for us truly southern folks. The sandwiches are always good as well. I have never had the burgers so I will leave that review to someone else. The only complaint that is I don't find their coffee enjoyable. First it has no flavor it pretty much hot coffee colored water. And when I say"hot" I mean like hot as in it just cooled a nuclear reactor down from a level 5 melt down.
