Definitely go during busy meal hours.
We were very surprised at how good almost everything was. Excluding the sushi. Very large variety and they were on point with replenishing the bar.

Pleasantly surprised. I was invited to go to A1 with a few friends, and, having been to bad Chinese buffets before, I prepared accordingly. I swallowed two tablespoons of vegetable oil and lidocaine to both lube and numb my sphincter as it would be massacred by the exit wound of bad food - OR SO I THOUGHT! I actually had a really great meal here. Went around and tried to have a bite of everything, and not one thing disappointed me. The sushi was great too, although I almost ate a piece of raw beef meant for the stir fry because I thought it was beef tartare. That one is on me, though.

Love it!. I've been here twice, and have been very pleased each time. The hibachi station is fast, there are lots of sushi options, and an amazing amount of Chinese dishes. There are also some American items like roast beef. On the first visit there were fried frog legs, which were delicious! The coconut shrimp and chicken on a stick are particularly good. All of the hot items are refreshed frequently, so nothing has been sitting out long. Keep an eye out for warm dessert options in the stations next to the regular food-- a particularly good custard dessert was marked "pork chop" one night but was clearly dessert. Cold dessert options are the fairly typical chinese buffet mix of very firm jello, pudding, fruit and small pre-made cake-type items. Unfortunately, the cakes are frequently stale. But, I don't go to a Chinese buffet for cakes and pastry. For $10, it is a VERY good deal, and I'm happy we have a Chinese buffet in town now.

I'm not sure where the negative reviews come from...this place was great and had a lot of options.

Don't understand all the bad reviews. Stopped in at 1230 for mothers day dinner with a group of 7. Great variety of food. Sushi was on point. Food was hot an fresh. We had nothing to complain about service or anything else. So either we was all very happy with this lunch buffet or we was just so lucky they was on there best this one single day we all decided to try it. I have had some bad experiences with some buffets before but this one was very good. 5 stars and I will be back. If my next few trips are bad then I will update my review. The place was very busy when we're there. Always a great sign.

One of the best tasting buffets in this area. A broad range of options and the fried rice alone is amazing.

The food was fresh and very well prepared. My waitress along with Everyone else working there was very friendly and provided prompt service. This was the first Chinese food I've had since moving to Charleston 8 months ago and I would recommend them to anyone. Many different varieties of food, including all types of seafood all you can eat for $12.50 per person. Happy I found this place and will definitely come back again.

great food, great service, everything was as you expect with a buffet. lots of choices, everything hot and tasty, staff cleaned buffet table of any spills or messes as they happened. waitresses were attentive to our table taking plates away when we were finished. my only negative comment would be I wish they served alcohol beer and wine . also the hand written signs to "please don't wast the food "is a bit tacky . I understand why they would write that but it is a buffet which you go to so you can taste food you haven't had before and you don't know if you will like it . can't beat the price for great food and really nice staff

My kids love the food options. It is hit or miss for us adults, but service has been consistently decent. Over all i would recommend this buffet to others just go early so the food is fresh and warm!

First of all the place looks clean. The employees are very attentive and very polite. While I had dinner my water was never empty, the food was above expectation, well seasoned and well lit, heated and labeled. The grill is prompt and it's made to please ordering any specialized from raw ingredients you might like. The dessert bar even includes cheese cake which is very rare in these buffets. I went on Memorial Day weekend and the place was half empty when I got in but as the day progressed it got much fuller. Diversity of patrons enjoying themselves while eating. Waiting staff was very assertive with refills and the bill.

I went here and like the food. The goldfish fountain in he front was very beautiful and well maintained. The goldfish seem very happy about their homr. Food selection was great. I just did not see the ever present fried pork. About the service every keeps ranting and complaining about: You have to understand authentic Chinese behavior to appreciate the workers here. Chinese people are not typically ass kissers like American servers are. They are very withdrawn and non engaging. They will do what they are requested ), but are not going to go out of their way to please you. This is a buffet restaurant which draws the worst of the worsts crowds of people. These workers are typically putting up with every b!tcher and moaner on the planet. If you like good food and a nice atmosphere then this is the place. Just don't expect the servers to kiss your ass and bow to get that little dollar tip you might leave after stuffing your face with 4 lbs of food. This place is great! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I did not find my beloved fried pork. I'll be back and when I find it. The 5 star will appear.

Sushi made to order, fresh for us, this is better then leaving it out on the buffet. When the host saw us looking, he came over right away and pointed out the menu, and asked what we would like. The Chinese hot food was also better than average, I really liked the Mongolian beef, pepper chicken, mei fun (rice noodles, spring rolls, and the bbq ribs were very good, juicy and flavorful. There was much more that I did not get to try. Will go back for sure. If you like dessert, they have about 6 different flavors as well as fresh fruit and jello. For weekend price of $12.99. Its a fantastic deal.
