My wife and I stopped in O'Brion's on our way to the beach for a quick pint and some lunch.....everyone was so friendly and the service was great. So great that we stopped there on our way BACK from the beach and may have had a few pints!
This will be a stop for us every time we head to Folly.....what a great group of people! So much fun!
I've had good service every time I've been, with good food. The sleezy cheesy is my boyfriends favorite. I don't like to eat the same thing twice so I'm working my way through, everything has been great so far. I try not to go on trivia nights. It's loud and packed and I have no interest in it.
It'll Do. I love O'Brion's, but only for their Pot Roast Sliders and a couple of beers with friends. Other than that it's just "ehh." If you're looking for a banging meal, this isn't your stop.
A great bar and grill. I don't get the negative reviews. I've eaten there many times and love the food. Some options besides typical bar fare, yet the typical burgers and sandwiches are great. The fries are the best anywhere, and the kettle chips (homemade) are a great change up for a side. And when you order a French Dip or a Philly Cheese Steak, the roast beef is not overcooked (like Arby's), but medium inside, tender and delicious. Plus, the staff has always been very friendly and accommodating whenever I've been there. I've never had anything less than a top-notch meal at all three locations (James Island, I'on and Rivertowne).
Under new management!!!. I see it's been awhile since there have been any reviews....a long time. I'm a local and would like to say that since all of the previous reviews, things have changed a lot at O'brion's. The changes in the staff has gotten much better. They are continuing to make new and improved additions in the kitchen, like an amazing brunch coming soon. Also, football season is around the corner and if you've been to O'brion's for a game you know how much fun it is. A lot of places go through a transition and this is is one of them. But come on down to a REAL locals bar, and experience what this place has to offer.....you won't be dissapointed:)
Good Food, Hot Girls. I just recently moved to James Island and I decided to check out this pub, I really enjoyed the food, I got the tour of Ireland..which was amazing and cheap! It was alittle bit of everything when it comes to Irish food! I sat at the bar and was treated wonderfully. The girls behind the bar were very hot and really wanted to get to know me and the conversation was nice being that I just moved here and don't know alot of people. I would recomend this place to anyone, I thought that it would be a great place to bring a family, or a few buddies after work for some drinks...All and all I will be back again!
Great Place. Ive been coming to this place for almost 2 years now and I love it. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The food is well above average as far as bar and pub food goes..Great beer selection. The staff is friendly and fun. Although the service did take a bit of a dip for a while, it's back to the way it was and I am thankful for that. Love this place. Just good friendly people and good times here.
Favorite place on JI. I often find myself stopping in here after work for a good beer and a burger. The food is excellent and the service has always been friendly. Highly recommended.
Great!!!!!. Great food!!! Live Music is Good!! Nice and friendly staff, lots of fun, always busy at night.... Favorite place to be
10/10 Highly Recommend
We had such a great time, we drove in from GA and decided to stop and get a drink and eat ended up staying and Playing Music Bingo which was a blast. The Food was Delicious and the bartender can make some delicious drinks, they were very attentive and always making sure we were full. Great Service, Atomosphere, and Food
Wanted to try this place out for a while and decided to pull the trigger. For a pub, sports bar it is pretty good, tons of TVs, and seating. Drinks were good, and the food kinda surprised me. I think I would try anything on the menu and not be scared. I had the Shepherds Pie and can say it was 100! Definitely be back to try something new. They were really busy when I was there and I give credit to our waitress. She did great for being the only one! Only thing is I am a Bengals fan, so I guess no Sundays! Haha
Took mom to lunch after the doctor. On the way in we caught a trio on their way out and asked how the food was and got a good review from them.
I have to say mom and I concur.
I got the Sheppard's Pie and mom got the Fish & Chips.
The waitress/bartender was friendly, as well.
Great local pub with fantastic food and good customer service. The food is reasonably priced, and they provide healthy portions. It can get a little loud, especially on trivia nights, and the inside needs a face-lift as it seems a bit rundown and dingy. That being said, it's not enough to deter me, and I still enjoy visiting them regularly. Plenty of parking with good outside seating.
Love the flounder fish and chips. Good people every time we go. Just one odd note, a sode of cabbage is $5. Don't believe the menu.
Love this place. I've come a few times and have never had a bad experience. Tammy is always sweet, Savannah is knowledgeable and kind, and Rachel is always welcoming and positive. I had fried shrimp tonight, which was good. Come check it out! I've met a lot of locals that call this place their home, and everyone is always treated the same. Definitely recommend 👍
Great times! Love the atmosphere!!! Would definitely come back. Allee Cat and Tammy are awesome!!❤️❤️🎊🎉🤘
Stopped in on a recent visit from Cleveland because they were showing Indians game. John put it on both TVs for us outside, turned down music, and turned up volume. Ally was a wonderful waitress. Very friendly! Many of the patrons stopped to talk to us (love that Southern hospitality). Food was tasty too
Amazingggg!! If you're a Browns fan, this is the place on Sundays! Food, fantastic. Service, great!
Great place. Friendly staff and crowd. Love it
