Great place. Not in the hubbub of Mt Pleasant or Folly. Great food. Great prices. Dog friendly; they even have dog menu! Great view of the marshlands. Outside seating is broken up into delightful “areas”. Don’t miss it!

The food and service was just awesome! You can also sit outside and bring your dog. They even have a special fresh food menu for them! We can't wait to go back and bring our pup with us!
Wow! We finally stopped here and found out why it's always busy. Everything we had was delicious, especially the shrimp and grits and the blackened grouper. The seafood tastes fresh and the outside seating is picturesque. Definitely will be back next time we're in the area!
Found this place by accident and was so happy we did. We went about 4:00 and the crowd had not started yet. Got in line to order and then picked a seat booth outside. There was a great breeze, as well as fans going over most of the tables. There were water/marsh views that were spectacular. We had a large shrimp meal, a shrimp and grouper meal, catfish bites, Bella fingers and hushpuppies. Everything was hot when it came out. The food here was delicious. Would recommend making the trip out to it for sure. When we were leaving, lots of people had started to arrive and line up. This should be on a must do list for Charleston.
Ellis Creek is a fantastic example of a proper fish camp. The hushpuppies with the honey butter were a great starter. We had fried shrimp, oysters, flounder, as well as crab cakes. The local hot sauce was a nice touch. The collard greens were surprisingly delicious.
Would come here every night of our vacation. Delicious food, beautiful view, cozy ambiance. Available heat lamps and fans to enjoy outdoor seating. Erica was kind, friendly & knowledgeable. Erica offered suggestions was very hospitable. They have a full bar to include a variety of frozen drinks.
Grabbed lunch here on a Friday afternoon. Dinners are hard to find parking. Simple enough you order at the window and get a number, sit down in one of the many booths or tables around the campy house. There is some interior seats. The view of the grasslands is gorgeous.
Food is brought to the table quickly. The peel and eat shrimp was difficult to peel, but tasty. We each got the green salad. One with grilled grouper and one with fried oysters. The salad was only a fair size and the grouper portion was small. Tasty and flaky but small. The oysters were on the smaller size ( typical of southern oysters) but soft and delicious. The iced tea is brewed and good. Free refills are provided at the counter.
Tables are bussed by their staff.
We give it a b-
A casual atmosphere with flair for flavorful dishes.. from shrimp & grits to grilled flounder sandwiches and everything in between! Simply order at the window and find your seat! Definitely a 5 star yumm! 😋
This was our first time here. Very casual. You stand in line and then go up to a window to order and then your order is brought to you. Service was good. The shrimp & grits and the loaded fries were great. The fish & chips were okay. The firecracker shrimp, chicken & waffle and the coleslaw with pecans were very good! Nice outdoor partially covered seating areas.
Very cute vibe, great food, not too pricey. Right on the water too! Lots of outdoor seating, but there's some indoor space too.
Nice spot near the water. The Oyster Po-boy was very flavorful.
The Grilled grouper was nice and flaky.
The fried shrimp had a very tasty batter.
The tables were nice and had a heater for those that might be a little cold blooded or a fan for a bit of a breeze.
Ordering was simple at the walk up window. The food came out pretty quick.
Third day in Charleston SC. When we discovered this Southern food restaurant. Great food , plenty and savory. Must see.
