My husband and I chose this restaurant as opposed to the wait at Toast for breakfast. The mimosas were top notch (fresh squeezed orange juice), the bacon infused bloody Mary a meal of its own, the low country breakfast was awesome and the crab cakes with house made roumolade was awesome. Service was great. The music (80s music, R & B) was great.
My wife and I had breakfast there with my sister and brother in law and had a wonderful meal. Service was great and the food terrific!! The crab cake Benadict(sp) was out of this world!! I recommend anyone in visiting Charleston give it a try. Won’t be disappointed!
This place was beautiful and definitely a place to try! My husband and I wanted to try it because our sons name is Eli and has autism and doesn't like restaurants so we just had too 😁 our waiter was Jordan and he was pretty awesome! Any questions we had he answered easily with honest opinion, was very attentive also very informative with the menu. The food was amazing, we had the lamb and filet and our taste buds was for sure dancing around. We had some drinks wasn't a fan of the very berry margarita but if your lemonhead Charleston tap water is a must try! We ate outside and it was a really nice atmosphere 10/10 definitely recommend!
Eli’s Table exceeded expectations! Good service, a warm atmosphere, and the food was an enjoyable blend of flavors. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience. Branch was great.
This was our first trip to Charleston, and we were excited to try the food everybody was raving about. Eli's table did not disappoint. Jess was an absolute delight! She was right there answering any questions, making suggestions and making sure that we had everything we needed. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The shrimp and grits, She crab soup and beignets were out of this world. It was a cold drizzly day outside, but the public parking was just around the corner, and we still got to see the horse-drawn carriages pass by as we ate. We were lucky to sneak in with a party of 10, but reservations are probably recommended. Can't say enough about the great food, location and service. Eli's Table is a definite must try!
I loved this little spot. I made reservations on ‘open table’ for the same night. It includes a fully stocked bar, not just beer and wine. It’s not pretentious, just beautiful food in a business-casual, dining atmosphere. There was a gentleman playing jazz on keyboards that evening (Saturday.) Jordon was our waiter. He made great recommendations and is genuinely a nice guy. The she-crab soup was delicious, hands down probably the best l’ve ever had. The crostini was remarkable! I’m going back just for that, wow. Everything was truly perfect. We’ll definitely be back. A truly great find!
Eli’s Table is a good option. No reservations needed. I had the fried green tomatoes and it tasted amazing. The portion sizes were optimal, not too much, not too little.
Food was absolutely 10/10! If you’re lucky enough to have Raymond as your server, he’s so kind and attentive! I have several food allergies and he surprised me with a custom desert. Will absolutely be going back every chance I get!
My daughter and I went here the other night and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is warm and staff is very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. We got the roasted chicken and roasted lamb. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Charleston. My daughter hasn't stopped talking about our experience dining here and wants everyone to know "it is the absolute best!" ☺️
We had a late brunch and decided to share a meal. We ordered the Chicken and Waffle. The staff divided it onto 2 plates for us. It came with soft regular butter, soft honey cinnamon butter, and maple bacon syrup. We also ordered beignets for dessert, which came with a dark chocolate syrup and berry spread. DELICIOUS!
Nice restaurant! Friendly staff! Great food!
Me and my sister ate brunch here for the first time and it was so good. The beignets were amazing and my omelet was really fluffy. My sister said the chicken was real good and the waffle fluffy and crisp. Definitely recommend.
OMG. Hands down Eli’s Table is my favorite restaurant in Charleston and one of my favorites in the US.
Best customer service I’ve ever received anywhere - attention to detail, communicative, would come at the right times, gave recommendations for events that week, saved us from two people who were harassing us with joining a membership, etc.
Every plate that is pictured not only had a great presentation but was at the perfect temperature and had excellent mix of ingredients. My favorite was the Green Fried Tomatoes. It’s an explosion of flavor and texture in your mouth.
There’s outside seating as well, albeit small.
Will absolutely come again and definitely recommend this place.
