So much good stuff happening here!! Basically, this place is just plain fabulous. The cafe has super yummy food and drinks, the buildings overall vibe is fun and funky, and lastly, it's all for a fantastic cause, as their proceeds go the the literacy programs they run upstairs! Oh, and it's a locally owned, small business, not a chain!! Seriously, I can go on forever!! Check it out!! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, there's also a fun little patio in the back where you can read your latest purchase while nibbling on one of their treats and sipping on your iced chai tea latte!! Do that. It's the best!! I'm done now. Carry on.
I started going to Dog Ears as a nearby, everyday coffee shop. It is local and has a wonderful atmosphere. Now its not only my go to coffee shop but also my go to for delicious lunches and to do work away from the office and school. Its great to have a place like this in South Buffalo, I am constantly recommending it and bringing newbies in.
I participate in the BBBS program and my Little lives near here. We go here for lunch/coffee/smoothies fairly often. We like to look around at the books, we've sat and played board games and we've just chatted. The food is great, the customer service is awesome.
This is a great book store with a cute cafe. I love the various classes they offer to the community and how much they support local authors.
Always great service and food! The coffee is always amazing.
The counter workers are friendly and very helpful!
The atmosphere is A+++.
Always a book to look at or a game to play or just good conversation.
Not just a great place to eat and have coffee but the book store in the back is great also.
If anyone has not been here it is a must that you stop in!!!
It has nice quiet atmosphere, plus they wade variety of books. Good food and drinks.
Nice staff, good local author selection. Coffee & lunch in adjacent coffee house. Some local artwork/photography for sale.
Great place to stop for coffee...take out or sit inside with something to eat. Good food.
Very nice place to eat and have coffee and enjoy a great book or 2. Hang with friends and more. They have a nice outside area to sit and enjoy what you order. Kid friendly as well.
A relatively small and unassuming coffee shop. But this shop is anything but small, has multiple rooms for reading and a HUGE book selection. Menu is also pretty large, with typical breakfast/ lunch foods and below the $10 range. Isn’t overpriced like many newer coffee shops in south buffalo. Is usually pretty quiet if you can find the right time and even if it isn’t what an amazing place. The only cashier that I’ve seen there is also wonderful, always answers my questions and is patient with me. 5/5 would tell anyone to go check out!
