My favorite kosher bakery with the best chocolate babkah and black and white cookies. Love the marble cake, apple and cherry strudel, chocolate and cinnamon danish, onion rolls, challah rolls, challah, etc. Isaac's has been around for as long as I can remember.
The bakery is showing its age but the baked goods show the love they are made with.
Let me tell you something about this place. It’s the best. The most yummy in my tummy place in the entire tristate area. Go here get yourself some treats you deserve to experience the goodness that is their pastries. Cakes cookies breads pastries it’s all 100. 10/10 satisfied bellies. Highly recommend.

Added 2 yrs later: yes, that's true, although took 2 years instead of 4 month the store received a facelift and looks much better than it was before but the designer screwed up on an important issue: the long and main counter that welcomes the customers has many trays full of merchandise totally uncovered! How could a professional miss such an item? Now they are throwing an ugly plastic film on top of the counter that looks very cheaply improvised but at least people don't cough and salivate on top of all those cookies.
Let's hope they will improve the issue professionally. I keep enjoying my shopping at Isaacs despite everything.
Delicious tasty and always fresh. The babka is truly delectable nothing else can beat it. They also know how to make my favorite thing the right way nobody else makes the lace cookies the same.
For those people who complain on bad service, I have to disagree. The old chap was super nice and treated me with utmost respect.
12 bucks for a choc babka isn't so bad considering its size.. I would highly recommend this place.

The Babka,Marble cake and Linzer tarts in particular are superb.
If your lucky enough you can catch the proprietor there - a terrific guy always with a positive word to say.
Just so everyone's aware, this place finally got a major indoor facelift. It looks gorgeous inside and there are more bakery items on the menu!
Amazing bakery! Every time family is in town we hit them up for their Mandel bread. Best in the WORLD!!!

its not easy to find great jewish pastries and cakes IMO. Isaac's has some of the best babka I've ever had. other stuff was good too from what I remember, but when you have good babka it shadows everything else.
