This is my choice for best Chinese food establishment in Brooklyn. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and well presented. I find the menu and flavors at this place are of a more sophisticated palate when it comes to Chinese food. Their dishes are more on the "authentic" side, and their seasoning and preparation of dishes makes them stand out amidst many options for this cuisine in the area. The interior deco and ambiance if this place is also more elegant, which awards them the best rating. Don't be afraid to request items or dishes not on the menu (we requested baby bok choy), when they are able to accommodate, they do it well. Came today for New Year's celebration and was not disappointed!
Five stars because it’s hard to find truly authentic regional Chinese cuisine in this part of brooklyn. Order: soup dumplings, double cooked pork and salt and pepper shrimp. No, soup dumplings aren’t Szechuan, but these were reasonably well executed. The order was delivered quickly via car (the restaurant does its own seamless deliveries and that seems to be a really good thing) and these didn’t suffer from the delay that many soup dumplings will. To be fair, the dough wasn’t the impossibly thin variety of an iconic xiao long bao, but the slightly thicker dumpling may be the reason why it traveled reasonably well. Double cooked pork was classically prepared (thankfully no fake corn and dried shitake mushrooms in this version) with sliced pork belly, leeks and the appropriate Szechuan seasonings and sauce. The pork had a nice smoky flavor - nicely done. I wasn’t as much a fan of the salt and pepper shrimp - it seemed like they got confused and made it more like a doughy tempura than the classic preparation. But still a fair amount of large shrimp (10 in my box) and we’ll-prepared if not truly authentic. The menu does give away the fact that they are trying to satisfy two audiences, authentic Szechuan aficionados as well as Chinese American tastes. In this part of brooklyn, you can do a lot worse.
Delicious! Don't be afraid to order level-10 spicy for the proper Sichuan buzz. I got the Chongqing chicken and the smoked tofu and celery appetizer for delivery. So good and very fast to North Slope!

Solid mapo tofu and scallion pancake. There is a bathtub for customers and it's relatively clean. The servers and owners were doing their own thing, no problem still very nice folks.
This place is the GOAT for authentic, real Szechuan flavors - none of that orange chicken shii! Don't listen to all the one star reviews of this place talking about their General Tso's chicken and other Americanized Chinese dishes! We ordered everything under the house specialties section with a high spice level (it could've still been spicier lol) - the shredded potatoes with chili, the pork belly with leek, the cauliflower dry pot, and the sesame noodles and everything was so good! Food came hot and ready to eat and they gave us plenty of rice too. Maybe all y'all talking about your "inauthentic" general tso's chicken should try ordering some real Szechuan dishes off their menu and then you can change your 1 star to 5 stars.
Very tasty. Enjoyed the Mapo tofu, eggplant in garlic sauce, vegetable dumplings in chili sauce, and vegetarian "shredded beef."
They have a good range of vegetarian options but also lots of dishes with meat if that's your preference.
Our favorite Chinese spot in Brooklyn. Delicious food, great spice level. The chonquing chicken is amazing! We also really like the Buddhist noodle soup for something light/when sick.
First time ordering and it was great! The mapo tofu and cold cucumbers were especially tasty.
We've been ordering out from here for years. Their ma po tofu is the ultimate comfort food. We are picky when it comes to Chinese food and this is the only place north of Sunset Park we love!
Exceptionally good Chinese food, order speed and quality for your money. The restaurant is perfectly managed and maintained, with everything being organized, taken out and delivered in little time. The food itself is always very savory, in large quantities and honestly better quality than a lot of Chinese places around it. 10/10!
