If you live in the part of fort Greene near the navy yard this is easily the best bagel place within walking distance. Russ and daughters isn't terrible, but the bagels are small, often not as fresh, and the service is abysmally slow. For all that you pay a premium for the name. Walk the 10 minutes to bagel world instead.

Fast, reliable, nice portions & a great to-go lunch spot with many options and great pricing. Everyone working there is always nice and considerate. I’m a big fan of their wraps and paninis.
