With every visit here, Ichiban tends to never disappoint with their amazing food and prompt service. One of my favorite places to go to without having to worry about a bad experience. 5 stars every time!
My favorite Sushi restaurant in BR! Hands down just amazed at the quality and flavor of all the types of Sushi they offer. Always friendly and great service. Anything I've ordered has been well prepared and just the best of flavors.

Go to place for sushi. Tried many other places in Baton Rouge, but always keep coming back to Ichiban! Great service, beautiful renovations, delicious food every time! Can't go wrong here!
Great hibachi experience.. My family of six dines every year on Valentine's Day at a Japanese steakhouse and hibachi. We have eaten at several in several states. Ichiban is a clear cut above the rest. We we're seated fairly quickly, service was good, wine list ample, sushi arrived quick and week prepared, and the atmosphere is great! Paul, our Chef, put on a great show, but more so served great food. The meat and vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. His show made me laugh out loud on several occasions. The restaurant is clean and appeard to be well run and staffed. Those are all great reason to dine here, but the food is the best reason. Seasoned well, cooked well, tastes great. Thank you Ichiban for making our tradition just a bit better.

Best sushi in town. I've eaten at atleast a dozen sushi bars in BR and this is my favorite. I've never had a roll I didn't absolutely love. The prices might be slightly higher than average, but its worth it. Never left without a big smile on my face : )

Curbside Appeal?. Although newly-renovated Ichiban could potentially skirt by on it's beautiful, "trendy" atmosphere, which to my experience has been committed by many sushi restaurants, Ichiban declines to do so. The ultimate test to this? Order the sashimi, where the only flavor up for scrutiny is that of the fish, no other ingredients to pervert the diners opinions. In doing so one will realize the level of quality Ichiban offers, incredibly fresh fish with a strong depth of flavor and vivid color. This restaurant has more than earned it's reputation, be prepared for Ichiban to ruin every other sushi place for you.
Super Fresh Sushi!. This is my favorite spot in town for sushi...it is always super fresh and staff is always friendly!! Love the renovations! Never disappoints!!
Atmosphere, Amazing Sushi, and Great Customer Service!. This place has just been renovated and it is fabulous! The "Ice Bar" is Uber Cool! Some of the drinks sit on ice and come out cold for making martini's and shots of Fireball! The bartenders and owners are so much fun! We love to go and sit at the bar to have sushi! It is a very popular place to go and you will probably see someone you know when you are there. If you like cool places that serve great food and have personable wait staff, you must go! Guaranteed to have a Great Experience!
