The atmosphere and vibe is awesome. Staff was supremely friendly and knowledgeable. Had the smoked pork sandwich with bourbon bbq sauce and it was unreal. Followed up with one of my favorite desserts of all time, a fresh made lemon bar that did not disappoint. Highly, highly recommend.

Went to Fells point yesterday to enjoy our February 80 degree weather and it was great we got the steamed mussels which were cooked to perfection ...so tender and delicious and a point of exlarge steamed shrimp which peeled just perfectly and were delicious ... we sat at an outside table and enjoyed our view as we ate this delicious seafood... job well done Penny Blacks ... we will return.

The best place in Fells Point for a quiet pint of Guinness. Proper pour, pub atmosphere, and friendly service. Two separate bars and a wood grill with outside seating seals the deal. Outstanding. Thank you for this place.

Always great food. Crabcakes and smoked chicken wings are delicious. At the moment, they have a bourbon pecan bread pudding on the menu that is out of this world! Definitely made from scratch.

TL;DR: Very good food and drinks in a cozy atmosphere. It's a yes. Came in solo on a Friday night, looking for a drink or two and something to eat. I tried the fried oysters to start, and they were very, very good - half-a-dozen plump, perfectly fried oysters with a delicious spicy sauce on the side. On the strength of the fried oysters, I decided to go for the fish and chips for dinner. Whoever is running that fryer really knows their business. Overall impression is that they care about what they're doing. Recommended.

Great view, service and food. Kinda magical. The perfect place to sit outside - I'll be back. Update- just ate inside yesterday. Been over a year since I've eaten at this place and first time indoors in well over 20-years when it used to be John Stevens. Nothing seems to have changed decor-wise and that's GREAT. Original tin ceilings and all wood fixtures. Staff was super too. I had the sweet mango tomato grilled cheese for lunch and it was delicious.

Well we love it here . The food is good , but please don’t forget the details , it makes a difference . Not everyone drinks liquor, please always have fresh brewed iced tea , the pot pie was excellent but vegetables were crunchy . The bread on a sandwich seemed stale , and dessert was just put on a plate , no whip cream , no presentation . Last but not least , why play music when no one can hear it . The food is good here , but I hope they Improve on items mentioned . It does Make a difference . Also the Caesar salad said “grilled “ It was not grilled at all . The food you get should be how it is described on the menu .

Interesting selection of cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere (a nice change of pace from most of Fell’s). Appetizers were tasty. Only downside was our server knew *nothing* about the cocktail menu; unfortunately, could not answer a single question. But they turned out okay and it was a good time none-the-less.

Best chicken pot pie I've ever had. Such good flavor and presentation. Theirs is a more soupy consistency and the pastry is only over the top of the dish and not all around the filling. It's not my preferable set up but the flavor makes it all worth it.

I ate here with my wife and daughter on a Wednesday night outside. John the server and Chef John were an amazing duo! We had Crab Cakes (best I have ever had in my life), Crawfish Étouffée(amazing flavors!) and the chilled soup that 2year old loved. In addition to the food, the beer menu had something for everyone. Can want to come back next time I’m in Baltimore!

We like this very old bar- restaurant. My favorite is their Baked Bree as an appetizer with crackers and grapes. The soups are a bit spicy to my taste. You can sit outside at the harbor in the heart of Fells Point. Once it was really raining and we got our seats in the backyard of the restaurant. It felt cozy. I really recommend this place as you can be always seated. It feels like in old good Europe. 👍

My girlfriend and I loved the soups here on a cold, rainy day! I had the vegan black bean soup and it was fantastic! The bartender was excellent and they have a great selection of beers on tap that you can't find at other bars in the area.
