First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! We got banh beo from their pre-made foods section to go, which is hard to find in Austin. While it wasn't the best banh beo I've ever had, it was pretty tasty and I'll take what I can get! Will definitely be back in the future to try some of their other dishes - particularly looking forward to their banh cuon.
They have a good buon rieu and bun bo especially if you don’t like the fermented shrimp taste. Theirs isn’t as strong. I also love buying their fresh tofu and banh cuon by the lb or 1/2 to go. Not many places in austin have fresh banh cuon.
This establishment has excellent Vietnamese noodles, tofu pudding dessert, soy milk, and ready to eat dishes.
This is a self service restaurant. Order at the counter and find a seat in one of the handful of tables. Pick up the food from the counter.
Dining atmosphere is completely absent. The place is very small and more suitable for takeouts than dining in. Environment is cluttered with boxes and restaurant supplies that don’t belong in a dining room.
This is my go to place whenever I want to buy freshly made tofu rather it be the tofu blocks or the fried tofu. When you eat the fried tofu you can taste the soy bean flavor. When I buy store bought tofu, it never taste the same. They also sell soy bean milk by the half gallons. Asian soy bean milk is different than the soy milk you get from American grocery stores. It is not as thick in consistency, not as sweet, and you and more soy bean taste. They sell soy bean milk in sweetened or unsweetened. I always get the tofu soup or tau foo fah. They leave the ginger syrup on the side so you can adjust the sweetness as you please. The tau foo fah is so soft and silky. Thumbs up the best I have had in Austin. They also have many Vietnamese dishes too such as banh cuon. Definitely a local mom and pop place of Austin.
Pork hock and fish cake rice noodle soup was delicious. My husband and I might have dosed ourselves with too much sodium by drinking all of the soup, we got very groggy immediately after lol. The banh cuon was not available when we came, it seems to be the bestseller, will have to come back and try it.
This is my cantine when I need authentic confort vietnamese food.
Auntie serves a few dishes only but you won't find there in any other vietnamese places : bánh cuốn, bún riêu, bánh canh, bún đậu mắm tôm Are among my top choices.
She also has food to go if you are looking for a quick solution for dinner: egg rolls, bánh giò, cánh gà kho... She makes homemade Tofu, homemade soy milk and even has sugar cane juice.
For tết, this is the place to get your must have food items.
This place is a gem, I hope they never close!
I got the hot soy milk drink and the tofu pudding with the ginger syrup. They were so good! The drink was creamy and the syrup was perfect. Reminded me what I used have as a kid.

Great food. They stay busy but get you in and out. We went in after lunch, before dinner so some items were out but they were steady bring up new food options.Their Fried Chinese Doughnuts are very tasty! Thanks!
Lots of fresh bakery items besides seasoned tofu pieces. They also have noodle soup dishes like bun rieu, bun mam, bun moc on the menu. Will have to return here to try their sit down menu someday.
Amazing Vietnamese deli in Austin. After having moved away from home with a lot of Vietnamese restaurants around, I was especially craving some Vietnamese classics. Managed to find this place in Austin which exactly fits the bill.
Huge fan of tàu hũ nước đường and Bánh cuốn here!! Pics below
