I wish I lived in Austin so I could go here all the time!!! I absolutely love what these folks are doing, using Barton Springs APF in their biscuits, showcasing seasonal local produce in their jam rotation, making handpies, and selling adorable giftable curated dry goods.
I had an incredible walk in experience as well- the lady on front of me ordered the last few handpies. When I inquired about what they might have in the back, one of the bakers asked if I would wait and she could bake off some for me from the freezer? It was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait!!! And in the meantime I had biscuits with butter and jam (i picked two flavors) and the subtlety of the pear meyer lemon really surprised me in the best possible way.

All excellent and nice seasoning in the pimento cheese. I enjoyed the heirloom tomatoes which accompanied the pimento cheese biscuit.

IF THE CHAIRS ARE OUT, THEY ARE OPEN!! Their sign isn't up and the coated windows make it look dark, but they are open! Wonderful service and food. Ask for a metal knife, or bring your own; the plastic knives they gave us broke when trying to cut the cold butter. Great jams make great gifts!
If you’re gonna run a place that only serves biscuits then you better make a damn good biscuit. Well this little kitchen pumps out some of the best flakey layered squares of deliciousness money can buy. Unique and delicious jams make it so your biscuit always has a great personality. Also, the butter is so good it almost rivals the biscuit itself.
Very excited this place opened up (this review is overdue) - it's right near our house which is a bonus AND it is wonderful food!!!! They have amazing biscuits and jam as well as coffee, tea and now serve pimento cheese on a biscuit along with bacon which was divine!!!! I also grabbed a salad which was outstanding. We get it and bring it home for breakfast all the time and today was the first time we tried the lunch and it was incredible. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well.

Super cute little bake shop known for its amazing biscuits and jams. Also has some great breakfast items. Try the apple butter, pear jalapeño, and cranberry cinnamon jam.
Exceptional biscuits ( sort of like scones!) And exquisite home made jams and jelly. Perfect for breakfast - anytime infact ! Great supply of cookbooks to browse.
Love, love this nifty place! It’s a lovely and cozy atmosphere with delicious biscuits and jam. The coffee is fantastic, adding to the inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!!!
What a great neighborhood find! This place is fabulous - the biscuit sandwiches are unbelievably good, and it's great that they support other local TX vendors by using and selling their products. The jams would be a great gift. The owner was extremely sweet and came out to chat with us, which we appreciated. Great food, great atmosphere - we will definitely be back!
