We ate at Tyson's for the first time last night. We live in a small town just West of Ft. Worth and make it down to Austin a few times during the year. This place was by far one of the best places we have eaten while in Austin. The Tasty Bastard was delicious! We will be back!
Falyn and I were out working the other night, when we decided we were hungry at around 3:00 AM. Now... granted, there are a select few fast food places open at that time of night, so I assumed our selection was limited, when LO & BEHOLD, I passed this taco joint right there on airport frwy!
How could I have never known this place existed??
Unique, reasonably priced tacos? A mix & match option? open super duper late, coupled with walk up ordering and outdoor eclectic seating!?!?
WHAT A JEWEL!!
We ordered the crispy duck, the brisket, and two Grime Time tacos.
The crispy duck was my fav.
We also got a dirty horchata which is horchata with a shot of coffee?? Espresso?? Can’t recal, but SO YUMMY!
And to top it off, super fast service.
We enjoyed it SO much! We WILL be back.

Out of downtown and worth the drive! The tacos were so good, the burnt ends were great, but the brisket melted in your mouth. Huge cup of queso and bag of chips made for a great late night snack! Will go back anytime we are in Austin!
This place is definitely a Austin restaurant. The menu looks delicious and breakfast tacos were so yummy. They made the eggs on piont. It's a place to come back again for sure.
A friend and I spent a rainy afternoon here recently when we were in town from Alberta, Canada. We both had a brisket taco and I had a pork belly. I have a gluten allergy but they have corn tacos. The cans of ciders are $2.50 each and the rain refused to let up so we stayed and stayed and stayed. Met lots of nice locals! Would definitely go back next time I’m in town.
Had two veg tacos: The Rage and King George (without bacon) — they tasted pretty nice. Guess they could be turned vegan if you ask them to refrain from cheese.
Brisket tacos and egg with cheese tacos. Smaller portions, but good flavor. Quick service for late night.
The burnt ends taco is possibly the best thing i have ever eaten 🤯 the King George was no slouch too. Don’t miss it if you’re in town!
Note, they don’t have indoor a/c seating and the outdoor area can get toasty, so if you plan to eat here get a nice iced drink to go with the tacos!
They're smoking meats out back which results in the tastiest and most moist taco meats you'll encounter in Austin. Reasonably priced tacos and cheap beers. This is my new favorite taco stop! Fast and friendly service.
Tyson Tacos! 💘
Went here for lunch time. They have a wide variety of tacos!
From Tex Mex - to street taco classics - to seafood blends - to breakfast classics : Tyson has it all!
I would say the lunch / dinner tacos are just okay. The breakfast tacos were very good .
All around , I probably wouldn’t go back for tacos outside of the breakfast tacos!
Cheers!
Fun place with delicious ingredients and large variety in shaded patio seating. I enjoyed the Scooby and Senior Ranger.
This is a gritty little GEM. The tacos are AMAZING. I highly recommend the crispy pork belly. I also like the crispy duck and tasty basterd! So yummy!! The atmosphere is cool and there is nice space to sit in the sun and enjoy your food. I also recommend getting the plate for 15 so you get your three tacos rice and beans. Staff is friendly and fast
