I don’t even know how to start! One of the best restaurants we tried in Austin (obviously) great menu, the food was just really tasty and had all the right notes. Their sorbets are made in house and they’re so very yummy so get that for sure. Great service and nice calming views outside.
This restaurant can do no wrong. I've had the pleasure of visiting with the restaurant manager and clear to me why the restaurant does so well in talking with him and the standards he tries to achieve on a daily basis.
Today, I enjoyed blue corn sopes and langostino etouffee. If you are a canjun stickler, you're probably not going to care for the etouffee. But if you can take a step back and just enjoy the flavors, I think you'll be happy.
Had 3 separate meals here and they were all exceptional. The staff is very attentive and the cocktails were to die for!
A beautiful and cozy restaurant, my daughter and I came to celebrate the upcoming summer holidays, we went in an excellent mood, and the restaurant was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful landscape design of the garden, a view of the river, and fantastic service and food. Delicious French champagne only added to the good mood.
Elevated Latin style food was promised and delivered at Ciclo.
I was greeted by a smiling host and waitstaff. I genuinely felt welcomed. The atmosphere of the restaurant was upscale but not uptight, there were families with young children who rounded out the welcoming ambiance.
The decor was beautiful, clean, and modern. The patio where I had my dinner was beautiful.
My server was phenomenal. I wish I could recall his name for a shout out, but he could tell I was struggling with the vast drink menu and surprised me with a glass of sparking rosé. He made wonderful recommendations for my meal and took my dietary restrictions very seriously.
I had the Heirloom Tomato Salad to start. It was light, fresh, and very flavorful. Plus can you really go wrong with burrata?
For my entree I had the sea scallops and pork belly. The scallops were perfectly cooked, the pork bell was crispy yet tender and the escabeche vegetables added a lovely crunch to the dish. The verde crudo was spicy, but in the best kind of way, and so flavorful.
I had the chocolate indulgence for dessert. It was paired with various forms of raspberry: fresh, coulee, sorbet. It was such a delicious pairing I was truly sad when it was gone.
Overall, it was an exceptional meal and experience, definitely one worth sharing.
One of the best experiences you can have in Austin. From the moment you arrive on the property, you are being taken care of. Great experience tonight with a big group. We had about 16 folks so we ordered 2 of every appetizer and dessert and shared across 2 tables.
Will absolutely continue to recommend to family and friends.
Had a very nice meal here. Avoid beet salad as way too tiny a dish for the high cost but flavors are wonderful. Quail was highlight of evening. Porkchop not great so avoid. Flavor reasonable and medium to thin cut. Poor value on chop n beets. Management n service impeccable.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Ciclo and it was a great experience. The food was really tasty and the service was fantastic, we loved our anniversary dessert. Thank you for making that night even more special!
We visited Ciclo with high expectations a few weeks ago based upon our experience with the restaurants at the Four Seasons Orlando, and Ciclo did not disappoint! Our friends were visiting from out of town and we both have adult sons on the autism spectrum, plus I have dietary restrictions. Our waiter bent over backward to handle our many requests, and the chef also came out to speak with me personally about the food ingredients, suggesting options. I can't say enough about the incredible service we received! The food was amazing! If money isn't an issue, get the tomahawk finished table side by the chef - great presentation and delicious steak! The cast iron chicken was wonderful, as were the ribeye and scallop meals. For dessert, the tres leches was another incredible presentation (you use a mallot to crack open the shell), and the bon bone filled with Amy's mexican vanilla were also delicious! You won't be disappointed!
What a fine dining experience. I had hands down the best Tomahawk in my life! The service is 5 stars - part of the four seasons - and all the plates, from entrees to Sides were deliriously. I am still thinking about the tomahawk 🍖
