All star staff and food! The Thai green curry mussels are my favorite but everything that my friends ordered I loved as well �

Awesome selection of mussels (classic and unique styles), nice draft/cocktails/wine menu, attentive service, and wonderful outdoor patio.
We came with friends to enjoy a dinner on their heated, outdoor patio. It was about low 40s and they had multiple overhead heaters on; we all had hats and thick jackets and were generally warm, though I highly recommend bringing a blanket or dressing very warmly if it’s anything below 50. The heaters are warm, but only do so much as the area is entirely exposed.
Food: I had the French onion soup for appetizer, which was warm, perfectly sized, and delicious. I enjoyed the Spicy Grapefruit mussels for dinner; while the grapefruit wasn’t apparent, they tasted delicious and had great spice to them! All of the mussels were edible and not a single tasted grainy or rubbery. They obviously know how to cook mussels and cook them well, and have a great supplier!
Friends had the pretzels, hot chicken tenders, hot chicken sandwich, and the curry mussels. The curry was delicious and perfectly seasoned. I’m not a fan of hot/spicy chicken, so I didn’t get a chance to try it but my friends said it was great!
Drinks: we split some bottles of wine and others had some beers. The menus are pretty good with plenty of options for both. There was also a good selection of cocktails, but we didn’t have any.
Service: service was great! We were checked on often without it feeling overbearing. When we requested a few additional things with the meal, they were quick to bring them out to us. The food runners were a bit reluctant to help but it wasn’t an issue and I’m sure they were busy.
Ambiance: the inside has a great bar area and plenty of seating. The outdoor patio is year round and just as awesome, with a bar and a picnic table style seating area as well.
Overall, recommend for the great mussels! Maybe a bit overpriced but it’s Alexandria and the food was worth the cost.

Ordered takeout here and was very impressed with the food quality. It is extremely rare to find a salmon dinner this size at just over $20. I typically don’t order salmon because it’s pretty easy to make at home but this was super tasty and cooked perfectly. Medium well, tender on the inside, crispy on the outside. All of the sides we ordered were also decent sized portions and tasted really good. I tend to set a pretty low bar these days for takeout orders and don’t often review them because they’re usually disappointing but this place was definitely worth talking about. Looking forward to visiting in person some time soon.
My husband and I loved this bar! We stopped in for a quick bite and we really enjoyed it. We shared their platter and had a glass of wine. The food is so good here! Way better than either of us expected! The restaurant is clean and there’s plenty of seating. The bathrooms are also very clean which is also a plus. I am definitely interested in coming back for brunch or dinner! All the staff were great, especially our bartender, Tony!
This place has legit wings. Best I’ve ever had… and I’ve had a lot of wings. Plus excellent dog friendly patio seating, friendly attentive bartender. Great vibes and decent prices for the area! Happy hour 3-6pm $8 for 6 delicious wings.
Busy Sunday but the service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious. The wings was different....blu cheese flavored and it was so good. I don't eat mussels but they have a bunch of different ways they are made and I heard it's delicious!
Went there twice on our short trip to Alexandria because we loved our first experience so much. While the second time we were seated in a street tent and the service seemed to be a bit negligent (they forgot to bring a side, although the server was genuinely apologetic for this matter), we absolutely loved the place. The mussels and their namesake platter are both to die for. Try rosé mussels!
If you can, get into their heated patio. If there’s a wait, it’s worth the wait. Great selection of beers, plus wines and cocktails. Relaxed and friendly, with the vibe resembling beer gardens in Europe.
They have great mussel dishes. I added up pasta In it and it was even better. Also, their brunch is good as well. Has nice patio too. I highly recommend this place!
