Fastinos

What treat! The pizza here is amazing! I can't believe how lucky I am to have found a drive thru pizza by the slice. Perfect for me!

This place always has great food and they are always busy. They do need to get at least one more person to staff the front though. But other than that they are always friendly. The food tastes homemade. I have never been disappointed in anything I have eaten. I highly suggest using the points system because it will get you great deals and you can use it at other places in the city too.

Last week I found myself in the mood for some Italian-American but didn't feel too much like making the drive down to Cornell to eat at Saggio's. Little did I know that Saggio's owned and operated a smaller set of Italian restaurants in town known as "Fastino's". My dilemma was apparently solved with this revelation and I quickly headed off to lunch. Although "Fastino's" seems to primarily cater to those who use the drive-thru, indoor seating is still available as the restaurant does have a small dining room inside. The menu features several Saggio classics and favorites, but be aware that it is indeed a condensed version of the one you'll find at the flagship location. Don't let that deter you however, you can still find an adequate number of items on the menu board above the front counter. As for me, I decided to go with the dinner-sized order of the "Chicken and Pasta Alfredo". Before you judge, I was fully intending on taking the second-half home for later, hence why I got their largest portion. When my food arrived the steam and aroma were emulating from it were more than apparent. My pasta was saturated in creamy Alfredo sauce and came topped with delicious cheese The chicken was also well-cooked and very generous in serving size. Not to mention, that the complimentary bread roll always makes for a useful tool when trying to absorb any excess pasta sauce that might still be lingering on the plate once you've already devoured your pasta. Considering how much I liked my meal, Fastino's, unfortunately, fell short in one crucial area: the service. A former restaurant counter server myself; I fully understand that some days behind the register can be better than others. However, a certain degree of customer service still needs to be maintained. While placing my order I couldn't help get the impression that the employees secretly wished I had gone someplace else for lunch. The cold and unfriendly demeanor displayed was more than transparent; sadly dampening my overall dining experience. Despite this, Fastino's nonetheless proved to be a place I wish I had learned of earlier. It's a great alternative to other Italian restaurants in the vicinity and offers the same quality/standard that its parent restaurant does on the Southside.

Super fast. Takes 10 min or less to get a fresh pizza. Food is quality and staff is nice

I loved the pizza but their process in picking up an order is not efficient. I ordered online then waited in the drive through for almost 20 minutes. Both pizzas I ordered had the wrong ingredients. But it saggios so the pizza was great. They just need to rethink how to do their pickup process

First time there . Very good experience the rate was kind of long but I got to remember that different people are already in different things and those kind of clothing the end of the day but I give them five stars and the cashier was very nice and both the cashiers All right it was recommend this to all great food Pizza Hut New York style thanks.
