Ordered the Ribeye Sandwich and Philly Cheese steak to go. Both we're delicious! Sorry, couldn't resist taking a bite before pictures. Look at all the meat on that Philly! And that's an oversized bun.
This was my first time eating here and it did not disappoint. I ordered the corned beef sandwich and fresh made chips. It was absolutely delicious! The staff was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!
Excellent food, excellent service! The Pastrami burger is amazing. They have a very large menu and everything I've tried is delicious! The employees are very helpful and the customer service is second to none. This is not like going to a typical burger joint, the high quality of the ingredients are obvious as soon as you get your food. It is also little more expensive , I won't lie. But you get what you pay for and the service and the food are absolutely worth it. I honestly go there every chance I get. I recommend California Pastrami to everyone I know.
I love the food at California Pastrami. My wife and I had been looking for a good pastrami sandwich in Albuquerque for quite some time when I first heard of this new restaurant on the radio a few years ago. When we tried it we were VERY impressed. After eating a few of their pastrami sandwiches I decided to try the Ribeye Steak Sandwich and I liked that even more than the pastrami and now I almost always get that one. I highly recommend that you give this place a try!
Just had an overnight stay in Albuquerque and California Pastrami was near my hotel. So glad it was. The Eastern-style pastrami sandwich was so good, very generous servings too. Loved the potato salad and nice, friendly staff. Lots of other selections available beside pastrami. Highly recommended.
I've been doing here for dinner years now. This is a great spot for hot pastrami sandwiches, in a couple of different styles, and sizes. Doesn't end there, my favorite thing is a Philly cheese steak sandwich; it's too good! Gotta also check out the carne asada burrito, taco, or nacho! Staff is always friendly, along with the owners. A must go!
My first time visit to California pastrami was an impressive one. My son and my granddaughter went for lunch one day here at the Albuquerque Montgomery location. The restaurant was impeccably clean, the employees really treated us like they liked that we were there. The food was fresh and delicious prices were reasonable, the delivery a food too our table was fast. The manager took a special interest in my granddaughter which of course was a happy thing for me. She didn't have to take the time to do that but she did and I appreciated it and so did my granddaughter who is three and very sociable. I will travel further to go to California pastrami and I will pass Subway on the way!
Been here several times. Love the pastrami. Only downer is the bread (burger/hot dog buns)comes out a bit dry sometimes. Service was Kid friendly, cook entertained my 7 year old daughter. Recommended.
If you're a pastrami lover, you'll never find a better place to get an authentic California Pastrami sandwich. The service is excellent and the people are friendly and ready to take care of your every need. Their sandwiches are the best!! It's worth the trip across town for this pastrami sandwich!!!
A friend and I dined IN and enjoyed turkey sandwich for her and a tuna with avocado on rye for me. We had combos with drinks and fries (chips for me) and fresh made lemonade for me. The food, staff, service were all outstanding and the food choices are varied and made to order every single time! They are happy to personalize each order. It's a real pleasure to recommend California Pastrami. When I win the lottery I'm investing even more in their businesses!
