I enjoy the food at street for Asia, it seems to use as few artificial and processed foods as possible.ots of fresh veggies and meat in their dishes. This particular time, I did not enjoy the boneless orange wings, and my server took them off my check without me even complaining, that is a good observant server. The hot tea selection is fantastic and cannot be beat for the price. Potentially my favorite Asian place in town, that being said the menu is difficult to understand, pic below for example.
I recently moved up to Denver but came back last weekend and decided to stop in here. With all of the places I have eaten, specifically Asian restaurants, I really didn't expect to find such an interesting variety and such delicious food. My friends ordered the dumpling sampler and pad Thai, while I ordered the chap chae. I was really impressed with the sauce, the consistency of the noodles and the freshness of the shrimp and beef. I ordered it extra spicy but did not find it to be particularly hot, although the pad Thai extra spicy had a nice heat level .The presentation of all of our dishes was great, service was prompt and the selection was fantastic. I was sad I couldn't take leftovers as we were going to walk around for awhile, because this food is hard to stop eating. All good dishes and we all left very full and happy. The portion sizes are also well worth the inexpensive prices. Next time I'm in town I will definitely stop in. This place is a treasure, give it a try!
Came here for dinner with my dad and had a fantastic experience! We ordered the dumpling sampler, the chicken lettuce wraps, Tokyo style edamame, a bottle of Nigori Gekkeikan sake, and hot plum oolong tea.
The dumpling sampler is MASSIVE and was easily enough to be a full entree between the two of us. The edamame was perfectly seasoned. The chicken was cooked perfectly- it had a great smoky char to it but was still extremely juicy. My dad isn’t a huge sake person but when he admitted it was pretty good. The plum oolong tea was perfectly lightly sweet on its own without needing anything added to it.
Our waitress was Vanessa, and she was AMAZING! She answered all of our (many, many) questions and was so genuinely nice.
I can’t recommend this place enough!
I like this place. I've been here several times and the food is always really good - boy can they make those dishes spicy! I’ve had their pad Thai before which is very tasty but my absolute favorite dish to get is Bangkok Street Khad Soi - it’s a soup and in our hot weather people might not think about ordering it but you will not be disappointed.
I ordered the Beef Pho. Food was flavored right. Waiter took a while to get our order. It was probably due to him being the only one on the floor. Pricing was average for establishment. The flavor to the sauce was really good. I had to stop and ask one of the persons there what it was.
Overall experience was awesome. I would recommend this to other people looking for great service.
Really like this place that make good street foods! I like the assorted plates that give you everything to try ( though some of them may be from supermarkets). The tofu dishes are creative and great for vegetarians too!
Will go again and have recommended to multiple friends.
Stop thinking about it and just go eat at this place! My husband and I moved from CA to NM and have had the hardest time satisfying our need for amazing Asian food. We just stumbled upon Streetfood Asia and are beyond happy we did. Our server Ken was so sweet and recommended the Kuala Lumpur St Char Kway Teow and blew us away; so much flavor and spice! We also had the Grill Sampler and the shrimp and cilantro dumplings. Everything was nicely garnished with fresh cilantro which I love. Definitely coming back to this place regardless of the higher price.
Been coming here off and on since it opened and the food has always been solid and relatively inexpensive for the area. However the service is still inconsistent--though I think I prefer my server being a harried older Asian woman who only says five words to you but will refill your water when she notices over the diffident UNM students who obviously don't want to work here.
My goodness gracious is this place delicious! I had the Saigon Chicken Chow Mein and Wings for dinner. I needed a to go bag, but it will make a great second meal tonight. Great service, and I will be returning!
My wife and I came here on a Tuesday afternoon around 2:00 for lunch. Plenty of open tables, and a very friendly host and server that was attentive but not too attentive, if you know what I mean. We ordered the Dumpling Sampler and the Chop Chae and a couple of beers. The food was delicious without a doubt, the service was spot on without a doubt. Truly nothing negative to say about Streetfood Asia. We will certainly be back next time we are in town to try some Pho or Curry!
