The food was amazing & our waitress was very nice and attentive. I had the carne adovada burrito which was GINORMOUS n as big as the plate. I only ate a 1/4th of it. It was totally worth it. Will continue to visit this cute lil place.
We brought our boys to have dinner here. Some other gentleman customer paid for our meal. We didn't see him. The owner of Charritos came up to us to let us know after he left. I got tears in my eyes because it make me feel good that there is kind people in this world. Especially everything that goes on.
Very nice atmosphere! This family-owned restaurant serves amazing food! Service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for authentic New Mexican cuisine!
The birthday breakfast includes the carne adovada plate (with beans and rice), papas and a chili relleno smothered in hatch green chili and cheese on the side, and a couple of sopapillas and honey for good measure. Bonus is leftovers for tomorrow 😁
Delicious! Cant wait to try more amazing food from the menu! Worth the wait. Yum!
Finally experienced what my parents have been talking about for YEARS. Very delicious and very good authentic NM food.
Highly recommend
I absolutely love this restaurant. It my favorite New Mexican restaurant in Albuquerque. I have never had a bad meal it’s always been very tasty to me
I Enjoy El Charrito's food. It is not only flavorful and tasty, it's just so good. You also get more than enough for your money.
The owners are family and they work well together.
They are friendly, beautiful and caring people.
Everything flows efficiently. They are very accommodating, everyone matters and they tend to please and they accomplish just that.
This place was PACKED. While I see some complaints in other reviews, I see this as a good omen; it means they're doing something right.
Dude... it's a ton of good food at a really reasonable price. $16 for a tamale, enchilada, taco, rellenos, rice, and beans, smothered in your choice of red or green and absolutely carpet bombed with cheese. Then we got sopapillas and honey. It was perfect. The five of us were positively elated with all our meals.
If you're going to cry because you have to wait for a little bit, this may not be the place for you. If you want good food, are willing to be kicked back and show a little patience, check it out. Service was great for how busy they were. Everyone was very friendly.
We made reservations for 8 after graduation. We were seated in a timely manner. The waitress took great care of us. She was absolutely amazing and attentive it was busy but she did a great job serving us. The food was great. You definitely got more than your monies worth. I definitely recommend El Charritos if you are ever in Albuquerque, NM.
Sorry they serve many people before us 😞 and we get there first, we wait and wait for so long but others get their plates first.
I know is not a fast food restaurant but I believe we were not served fairly.
