Overall great food. Parking not so good but worth it.
I've tried their crispy gau gee and their chicken tempura. The gau gee is pretty standard tasting for a pretty standard price. The chicken tempura is a somewhat unique offering but it's pretty salty. Plus, the batter was put on pretty unevenly. Some parts of the chicken had no batter, while other parts of it had huge chunks of dough that resulted in bites that did not contain chicken.
I saw this place as I was running errands this morning, and I figured I'd give it a shot.
This is my favorite manapua, hands-down!
They have a variety to choose from: pizza, kalua pork, ham and cheese, char siu, shoyu chicken, etc. They also have the best pork hash, in my opinion, and they're fairly big.
The guy that was working this morning was extremely friendly and gave me great customer service.
It's a small spot. There's a decent amount of parking in front of the building. They do take credit cards.
The dim sum is delicious. The variety is great. The serving sizes are generous. I try to get my favorites and add a new one each time. This will last me multiple meals!
Best manapua of Honolulu.
Make sure to order the original steamed char siu (at least one)!

Little hole in wall, delicious manapua! Parking in front but not much! Only a 2 butt store front, I image they can get quite a line! Filled to capacity with coolers of beverages ( even an icee machine) cases of prepared hot food and snack buns. My only complaint was that the buns weren't even warm, I expected them to be hot, took them to go and pulled out of drive and didn't realize I would need to heat them up! Which was a total bummer cause I dont even own a microwave! So next time I go I will ask them to heat! But so good I will go again!
Got a tip to go here and grab some manapua…did not disappoint. Got the charsiu and the kalua pork. “Broke da mouf” for sure. Got the pork hash and fell in love. Keep it up AMS, I’ll be back!!
I work nearby and this is a really convenient spot for manapua. They got a lot of different and interesting varieties. I very much enjoy the spicy sausage manapua as well as the pizza. As of 1/4/2019, the price is $1.99 each, which isn't too bad. They have ample parking right outside the shop. Service is quick and they take credit card. Definitely recommend this place for a manapua run.
Tried ALMOST every item. 100% satisfied! The tasty-ness is unbelievable! Definitely try their veggie manapua and veggie gau gee!!! I'm a total carnivore that loves their veggie items!!
The manapua is really good! The selection is on first come first serve basis. So, if you want to have all options available, go early!
