Absolutely wonderful little hotel, a gem in a perfect location next to restaurants and quiet cobbled streets. You can walk to galleries and museums, shops and restaurants.
Understated and thoughtful with a very beautiful and authentic aesthetic, in an old building that hasn’t been too over done, retaining old stone stairs and lovely wooden doors and floors. You get the feeling of a kind of freedom and peaceful comforting atmosphere from the understanding that simplicity, good quality and excellent service is more luxurious than anything over done and over complicated.
There are no key cards or QR codes, just a simple key for the bedroom. The room was light and clean with an extremely comfortable bed and fresh linens. Long windows opened onto a balcony covered in plants and climbing Jasmin and over looking a quiet cobbled street.
For breakfast you simply write on a little sheet of paper at the front desk what you would like and at what time and then with amazing promptnesses a tray with coffee, pastries, yoghurt and fresh juice is delivered to your door the next morning. You can have it in the sunshine on the balcony and collect your thoughts for the day - true luxury.
Shower was hot immediately. The bathroom was ‘dated’ but in the most charming way that is getting hard to find.
The entrance is to the right of a lovely looking restaurant of the same name so it looks very discreet but it is still easy to find.
Loved my stay here!! Would stay again.
