La Serra

Nice experience but not amazing as we were expecting. The view is beautiful but we thought most of the food was just ok. We did the 5 course menu and the pre-appetizers and first course (sea-bass cracker) were very good but nothing after that was a stand out for either of us. The wine pairing selections were very good. We also didn’t like that they offered us a welcome glass of sparkling wine in a way that made it seem complimentary but they charged us €50 for two glasses (in addition to our wine pairing). We wouldn’t have said yes if we had known

The best restaurant in Positano ! The food, the views, the service, the staff, Nicoletta and Chef Luigi are simply the best ! Allow the team to surprise you with the tasting menu ... you will never be disappointed. Bravo La Serra !!!!

Visited La Serra for my birthday dinner in May. It was exceptional. The 7-8 course tasting menu was fun, inventive, and delicious (ottimo). We marveled at the beauty of Kandinsky's Lunar Eclipse, drooled over the flavors of "crustations ... traveling to Thailand," and overall had a blast experiencing the differences between the dishes. It was clear that there is phenomenal teamwork between Chef Luigi and his wife, Nicoletta, who oversees the front-of-house and is one of the most well-regarded Master Sommeliers in Italy. The food further elevated the wine that was specially paired, a mix of traditional wines of the coast and experimental takes on Italian wines, the Barolo served alongside the Buffalo dish as an example. Altogether... even in the rain (without the ability to have a view of the coast), this was one of the best dining experiences of my life. And the same applies to my boyfriend who was born & raised in Positano. We really felt that much thought and care was put into developing dishes that further elevate and highlight the ingredients and traditions of the Amalfi Coast. Thank you to Chef Luigi, Nicoletta, and the staff. I hope to have the opportunity to return and see what other magic you all create in the future.

포지타노에서 먹은 미슐랭 레스토랑 중 가장 마음에 들었던 곳. 포지타노를 바라보는 전망이며, 분위기며 5코스 메뉴로 나왔던 것 하나하나 맘에 들었음. 와인 페어링도 맛나게 할 수 있었던 것은 덤. 예약은 필수이고, 와인까지 인당 200-300유로 감안하고 오셔야할 듯.

My favourite dining experience in 10 days across all of Naples, Sorrento, Capri and Positano. We are in several Michelin star restaurants and this was our favourite. Beautiful setting, amazing food that was just as delicious as it was complex and beautiful. Great wine pairing too. We had the 6-course tasting menu, which was a whirlwind of flavours, mostly seafood. The restaurant manager was absolutely lovely and the great star chef (her husband!) also came out to greet the guests after dinner. We will be back!
