Bellissimo paesino con case colorate e vicoli stretti con un castello in cima. Si possono fare camminate su sentieri con scorci magnifici. Stupenda la piazzetta che da sul mare.

CONSIGLIO FORTEMENTE. Terrazzata ricavata da un angolo di paradiso, ambiente tranquillissimo un po' formale ma non troppo, si può degustare vino locale e qualche altra chicca alcolica. Consiglio di provare lo Sciacchetrà. Il prezzo è commisurato alla qualità dei vini, alla vista impareggiabile direttamente sul mare. Incluso nel prezzo ci sarà un abbinamento di cibarie varie (è comunque un aperitivo, non vi faranno una tagliata con patate arrosto). Chiedete e vi sarà consigliato, il personale è molto cortese e disponibile.

Ottima varietà nei percorsi di degustazione tematici e per fasce di prezzo, soprattutto competenza nel spiegare ciò che si beve il che è molto importante. La cornice poi non ha bisogno di presentazioni. Altamente consigliato. Attenzione, pagamento cash only.

Amazing! He has several options of a 3 wine tasting. Prices are very good! Not expensive. Very knowlegable and friendly hosts, had amazing wines and the location is epic. Good view and away from the busy streets. You have to go up some stairs to get there, which makes it a real adventure. Cash only!

What a lovely place to sit and watch the sun set! The wine was fantastic and each one is explained to you in detail. I’ve also never had anchovies before but ordered them after being recommended by the wait staff. Delicious!!!

The owner's passion for his favorite wine was infectious and you just can't beat the view! A little over-priced, but I guess they have to lug everything up and down all those stairs each evening so that's worth something. Enough good wine to make it worthwhile, according to my pallet (yours may be different).

Plateau repas possible pour agrémenter la dégustation (charcuterie, fromage et anchois.) 15euro le plateau. Environs une quinzaine de tables dont 5 au bord de la falaise. Pas de CB. Pas de réservation. Accessible uniquement à pied par des escaliers. Parle anglais, italien et un petit peu le français.

Arrived a little bit after opening (5pm) and we were promptly seated by Alessandro Villa himself. Beautiful views of the sea for many of the tables. This location is primarily wine tasting (15 or 20€ per person) with anchovies (10€) or meat/cheese plate(15€) for food. Cash only. Wine also comes with olives and small crackers. Alessandro personally described and poured each wine for us. The wines were from various regions of Italy and Cinque Terre. All of the wines that we got were amazing (Prosecco, Cinque white, Barbera). Overall, an amazing experience. If you're on the fence, please give it a try. You won't regret it.

Incredible location under the shade of castle Doria with breathtaking panoramic ocean views. Home prepared anchovies were incredible and excellent wine recommendations with personal service from Alessandro. Well worth exploring the back streets of Vernazza to find- you won't be disappointed.

Checked this small spot out due to the awesome reviews and were not disappointed. Surprisingly, we walked right in and had our choice of beautiful tables at 6:30 PM. The views from the terrace are stunning, with water stretching as far as you can see.... and every table has a view. My wife and I both did a wine tasting, trying 6 different wines between the two of us. The waiters were incredible and described every pour in detail. It was easy to see that they were passionate about wine. We also had the cheese and meat board which was delicious, and the tasting came with crackers and olives as well. Highly recommended.... would definitely go again if we ever return to Vernazza.

Very knowledgeable and friendly, will tell you anything you want to know about local and Italian wines. If you know wine well or not at all, Alessandro is a wonderful guide to the wines. The view is absolutely stunning and perfect for the sunset. A must do; if you go your first night you may be coming back like us before you leave!

The view of the sea was amazing and the wine even better. The menu consists of themed sets of 3 wines (eg Cinque Terre wines) ranging from €15 to €30 as well as some light food pairings. The owner was very knowledgeable; he handpicked all the wines on the menu and even came over to us to describe the wine in detail. Would definately recommend to get away from the crowds of the main part of town and get an expert insight into local wines.
