Good food and good portions. I ordered from Uber eats and I was not disappointed. This is the baked chicken, white rice and cabbage with a piece of cornbread. Everything tasted amazing. I ended up ordering the same thing the next day and adding mac n cheese. I would not recommend the mac n cheese (didn't get a pic) but, everything else was delicious again. Not too expensive although, everything is relatively expensive nowadays.

I passed this place a few months ago while on my way home. I was shocked to see that it was a soul food restaurant. I said I was going to try it and finally got around to it yesterday. The staff behind the counter greeted my husband and I upon entering. We placed our orders and sat at one of their tables. It appeared that most staff were on their way home and one of the gentlemen (maybe the father) thanked us for coming. It took about 25 minutes for the our meals to be prepared. I ordered fried chicken, mac and cheese with collard greens. It also came with a cornbread. My husband ordered their rice and peas, bbq ribs and potato salad. He said that his food was good. (Sorry didn't get to take a picture.) For me the mac and cheese and cornbread were good but lukewarm. I expected the mac and cheese to be hot and cheesy. I felt it could've used a bit more cheese and it also had a slight buttery taste. (Warming it up the next day it was cheesy and didn't have that buttery taste at all. Guess because it was hot.) The collard greens and chicken were so good. The chicken was seasoned well and was crispy! Overall, I would definitely come here again. I feel the food was reasonably priced and tasted pretty good. And I liked the staff mannerisms. I'm giving it 4 stars only because the mac and cheese should've been hot and the cornbread warm.

I recommend the plate shown as well as the sweet chili fried shrimps. I really enjoyed it, so tasty💗

Wow! Walked in an got the ribs with collard greens and Mac n cheese, also the BBQ chicken with string beans and potato salad as a take out. We were not disappointed! Flavor was on point on the sides, both meats were tender and delicious. Now I must emphasize that you must get a coconut cake. Moist! Frosting had the right amount of sugar and the right amount slathered throughout the cake. We will be coming back. 😃

BK catered our daughters graduation party. It was a great experience everyone LOVED the food but the highlights are surely their: mac and cheese, greens, fried fish, potato salad, and fried chicken. Reasonably priced, great value, we are now repeat customers. Thanks again! Lauren and Collis Johnson
