What a fantastic experience. Delicious burger! The beef was flavorful, cooked perfectly, with fresh lettuce, onions, relish and and lots of sauce to make it juicy and perfectly sloppy �. And the fries! Golden, crispy, crunchy, fluffy deliciousness! My hubby had tots, and they were crunchy and delicious too. He had a peanut butter shake and I had a real pineapple shake with crushed pineapple they were thick, creamy and delicious. The tartar and fry sauce were pretty good too. The Lariat is truly a destination burger stop.

I think this is the best burger in town. Huge patty, but it's the red relish that is key. They also added the "Kemper" burger after Kempers closed which is great for kids or if you're not too hungry. It's a little expensive for a drive thru, but definitely worth it!
My fiance is the cook at Lariat , I live in another town and had never tried their food.
He brought me some and the sauce is so good.

As a Native to the Lower Yakima Valley, I absolutely enjoyed when my dad would take me for a Kemper burger and fries! And I found out since Kempers shut down, The owners of Kempers bought the lariat BBQ, And now I can still enjoy these yummy burgers with my kiddos when I visit from Oregon!
I've been coming here as long as I can remember.. so roughly 30 years. We come from Seattle!! We have family in Yakima, and about half the reason we come to Yakima is specifically to get a Lariat burger! They are excellent!!!
It takes a while to get your food after you order, but that's because it is cooked only after you order it. The Kemper burger is a small simple burger on par with a McDonald's hamburger, and the lariat burger is a bigger burger with lots of good toppings. The service is so so, but the food is delicious.

Great spot to get ur Kemper Burger fix. Pulled pork is really good.
Best burger I have ever had in my lifffeeeeeee! I always get the Lariat Burger. I did stop going there since the PLANdemic because they tried making me wear a mask to order outside. It was kind of ridiculous, but besides that I have always received awesome customer service and the best food ever!
