Best country dinner I've had since my grandma passed away! If you want some good home cooking you have to stop by here. I would give them a 10 if I could. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and cabbage, all cooked from scratch and to perfection! Thanks for supper y'all!

I ordered a plate of fried chicken tenders with cole slaw & tater-tots & a biscuit with butter. All of it was DELICIOUS!
The tenders felt crispy on the outside but moist on the inside, & the toasted biscuits were also a home-run, with a thin layer of golden-brown crisp on the outside & warm butter inside. They prepared the tater-tots perfectly too! They were light & crispy, & the person I ate with said he could eat a whole meal of just those tater-tots alone. They diced the cole slaw into very fine/small cubes & soaked it all in a vinegar-based mixture; it was refreshing & cut through the butter/grease/oil of the biscuits & chicken tenders & tater-tots.
The person that I ate with enjoyed everything he ordered: chicken tenders, hush-puppies, stewed cabbage, tater-totes, corn-nuggets, baked apples.
Both our meals TOGETHER cost about $24, after taxes & before tip. The waitress serving us was very warm, patient, & polite. I also noticed a "HELP WANTED" sign in the window (see the pictures I uploaded).
Have eaten there for over more years than I want to number, let's just say that I was eating there before Mickey Ds and Burger K even thought about opening restaurants in the town of Yadkinvile. In that time I can never remember getting a bad cheeseburger, plate lunch or any other kind of meal here.
My time spent in Jim's Grill went very well. I enjoyed my chicken tender plate very much. I liked the texture of the grilled chicken tenders. They were very crispy but moist. The fries tasted pretty good with seasoning they had for it. It was a good meal with a good price. The service was great! She was very attentive and sweet.Overall really enjoyed my experience.
The double hamburger & fried chicken tenders both tasted delicious! Plus, the tater-tots & French fries came out crispy & warm too.
It's a nice, quiet local restaurant.
Rated 4/5 because I saw several large flies buzzing around the booth where my friend & I sat; it seemed a little bit unsanitary which bothered me, but eating there at Jim's Grill proved a positive experience overall. 👍

Hole in the wall type restaurant with good lunch specials! Great, friendly, fast service. Weather you want a meat and 2 sides or you need a hotdog or a burger basket, this is the spot! Hope to see you there, I'll be the long-haired bearded guy at the bar chowing down on them burgers cuz that one I had was so good!!
Good place to eat like homestyle cooked meals. Waitress is very nice. Have good burgers and hotdogs. Been there a long time so they have pretty decent business established.
These people are working hard to deliver good food . Everything we had was great our server was super nice
